Lucy Appadoo is a prolific author who writes contemporary romance novels and romantic suspense novels about strong women who manage adversity with strength and heart. After a childhood spent reading and imagining escapist worlds, Lucy has put her imagination into stories.     Loved this book! The main character reminded me of myself in her independence and taking care of things on her own! She is a strong character!

    I have read other books by this author and have enjoyed them. This one took me a long time to get into and I just couldn’t connect with the characters. I felt the main character Lisa Shelny was a person with a large ego and thought she could do everything herself. Even when she started receiving threatening letters and threats on her life, she called the police but still tried to figure it out herself. Her relationship with Johnson Smythe didn’t feel real at all. She apparently thought he was the one but when they were together, it just didn’t feel right. I certainly am not using this book as to how good the author is. Other books of hers are much better and I will continue to read her works.

    Another great read from Lucy which I highly recommend. A story of suspense, danger and twists and turns that had us following the hunt to find who was seeking revenge against Lisa, the growing relationship between Johnson and Lisa as he strives to protect her and the reunion between Johnson and his father after so many years. Lucy has again kept me glued to my chair as I turned the pages eager to find out who the stalker really was as she had me guessing who as several possibilities were introduced to us and it was a surprise right to the finish.
