Titos must be the king his keepers keep claiming he is.

With all the bloodshed, he must learn to lean on his keepers. Titos must learn the hardest lesson, that he cannot rule a kingdom alone and he doesn’t have to.

Will his decisions end up hurting them all, or will he allow his keepers to protect him?

Titos is just a king who just wants to be loved.

In this series continuation, we are slowly learning more about King Titos and his enemies. There were deceptions, action, loyalties given, and a new keeper added to the group. I really like the uniqueness of each keeper and their inner beasts. Titos is struggling with his new status. He doesn't want to be like the other kings or queens, so he is trying to figure out what works best for him and his territory. I am excited to jump right into book three.

I enjoyed this book but the spelling and grammatical errors drove me nuts! I also wish the time frames were more clear. In my mind I’m thinking it’s been months but it’s only been a few weeks.

Ohh they keep getting better and better! The HFNs are killing me, but it’s sort of the nature of this kind of story. I’m glad the that author isn’t trying to shorten it all into one because there is so much going on! The story is full and rich even beyond the MCs romantic relationship. I love all the characters and the scenes with them all together are so steamy!

A King to be Protected is the second book in the Our King, Our Master series. This book is a reverse MMMM+ harem, with more partners to join the group. I love the relationship and dynamics between all the characters, but the plot is slow moving. This second book felt more like it was a set up for the third book, and a lot of mysteries still remain. I think if the book was a little bit longer and more a little more in depth, I would have liked it better. However, the steamy moments are on point and a lot of fun. Plus, John Solo does a fantastic job narrating the audiobook.

Mazki is a delight with his hijinks, shenanigans, and cheekiness! His sexual innuendos bring a nice spice to the book. I feel for Tiros that he has no time to breathe. The crazy just keeps on coming but so do his me. (Pun intended)

I'm still captured by this series and am excited to see what happens next.

I loved this book, truly I did. I love this author and all her hot and spicy scenes. I did get frustrated several times with Titos and his Keepers though since they were in so much danger but yet all they wanted to do was stay in bed and crap kept happening that could have been dealt with better. I screamed at them that they were slackers more than once lol. I’m sure that added to their characters being out of their elements but it was just alarming being as they were in danger. Can’t wait to read the next book!

The plot thickens. More and more mystery surrounds Titos’ father. More baddies on the loose. And to top it all off, traitors in the house.
  • Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2022
There was some continuation in the small plot. This series is mostly sexy times with sprinkles of a main plot thread. I’m interested in knowing more about the so-called family that the King comes from. And of course, I’m going to keep reading for the great spice.

Awesome story, loved reading from the point of view of all the main characters. Lots of heat without losing the romance. Looking forward to reading more about Titos and his guys.

3.0 out of 5 stars okay now I understand

The story could be so much better. But in this book I had the feeling the king only stand up to eat and after a few min of talking he is to exhausted to stand so he goes back to bed ... but not to sleep. At the end there is hope for the next book.

I like the way the story is going. The scenes where Titus become stronger and his relationship with his keepers. I just wish he doesn't faint that much? Hahaha
But this is inly a small detail.

Read book 1 first as this follows on. Again an interesting step along the series. I have to say I thought book 1 was slightly better but this is building up the story well and I will in getting Book 3.
