Knightstar Kindle Edition

4.0 out of 5 stars 12 ratings

Just because you have superpowers, it doesn't mean you're a superhero

Fifteen-year-old, Oliver’s life is flipped upside down when he opens a time capsule and inherits the superpowers from Nero, an evil and long-dead supervillain. It is these powers that bring out Oliver’s dark side. Oliver learns to control his superpowers, dons a mask, and spreads chaos across the city as Knightstar. He is soon assigned a deadly mission to try and bring the city to its knees to prepare for a new order, ready for Nero’s resurrection.

However, when Knightstar is subjected to the pain and suffering he has caused, he has a major decision to make. Will he become the supervillain that tears down the city or will he become the superhero the city needs?

Hello

Thank you for looking at my profile. Hopefully, you've read my book or planning to, so thank you so much for that.

I wanted Knightstar to be like any normal fifteen-year-old which readers could easily relate to. He is on the cusp of adulthood, and it is an age where so many decisions are thrown at you. You can barely decide what is good for yourself, let alone what is good for the entire city. As the book suggests, he is just an ordinary boy, going to an ordinary school in an ordinary city. He is not super intelligent like Peter Parker, he is not super-rich like Bruce Wayne, nor is he great with gadgets and technology like Tony Stark. There is nothing really distinctive about Oliver.

I was inspired to write Knightstar through my love of superheroes and young adult novels. I have done too many jobs to list but would rank being an author as the one I would love to do full time. I love writing, TV, and chocolate, and hate heights, spiders, and posing for the artistic author photographs (although I may have to be pinned down and have a photograph taken soon). I currently live in Leicester with my wife, dog, and cat.

Thanks

James

A real page turner and a great book for the superhero lover. A dark side to the hero exists which keeps it entertaining and gripped to the book
