You know I'm easily influenced the moment I see a book getting a lot of buzz from other booksta friends, so naturally I had to jump on this one (pun intended?). This book came just at the right time as it promised to be a quick, funny, steamy romcom (full of pop culture references) that I have literally devoured in a single day.This is your not so typical sports romance where all the men in this story are hunky footballers without having to actually sit through a single game (win!). Instead, you get a s3x positive story of marriage of inconvenience, forced proximity and *group activities*.Eleanor is letting loose in Vegas for Fourth of July and finds herself in the hottest club with the hottest guys at her feet (literally, as this dancing queen is throwing it up on the tables). She spends a hot and steamy night with the three golden boys of the Raiders football team during which she accidentally gets married to the star Quarterback. As luck would have it, she is denied an annulment and forced to live with Crew for the next 30 days before she can contest the judge's decision.Is there a ton of plot? Not really. Does it need it? I loved the crossover of some of the characters from Tangled in Tinsel (my last book of 2024), and I also loved exploring the relationship between Elle and Crew. Trilina Pucci is awesome at writing very likable characters while also keeping some real-life vibes to the storyline. I cannot wait to listen to the third book in this series!

    This was just so much fun to read! I loved Eleanor - her sense of humour and attitude had me giggling, especially when she was trying to resist Crew. The two of them made a great couple & their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how their drunk Vegas marriage went from no touching to all the touching & then feelings got involved.

    This was also hot AF. There’s plenty of sex in the story, which had me worried that this was sex over plot. However, I thought that they were woven together well - yes, it’s very spicy but the non-spicy parts of the story are not overpowered. I’m looking forward to reading more!

    I loved this book! It was funny. It was cute. It has everything I want in a spicy RomCom. The book follows Eleanor and famous NFL player Crew Matthews. After a crazy night in Vegas, they end up in a marriage of (in)convenience for the next thirty days. The banter between these 2 characters was awesome and had me actually laughing out loud. The FMC was super relatable and the MMC was super hot; and the nice thing about Trilina Pucci is that this is the second book where she has done the "every woman experience" which is when the author specifically doesn’t physically describe the FMC – you can picture whoever you want, even yourself if you so choose. The only thing I was disappointed in was I wish we would have gotten more scenes with Crew’s friends TJ & Nate. They were hilarious. And I know this wasn't meant to be a "why choose" like Tangled in Tinsel, I just would have enjoyed a couple more spicy scenes with them.

    I knew from everything I saw on Bookstagram that this was going to be a fun read and I was not disappointed. I didn’t know that I needed a romcom that is essentially what happens in the aftermath of Katy Perry’s “What happened in Vegas” but I definitely did. Crew and Eleanor are perfectly matched and their banter is next level. I spent at least 50% of book alternating between laughing at the banter and sweating over the spice. Crew is everything I wanted from a football bro who loves to ~share~ with his friends and be in control. The way he took charge of situations was 🥵 and when you pair that with his good heart and the cute things he does, I was a total goner. Beyond the spice, Crew and Eleanor were relatable in their attitudes towards love versus ambition and the way they came to fall for each other was swoon-worthy. Beyond that, the side characters of this book made it even better. Millie and Samantha’s texts and TJ and Nate’s antics made this book everything I wanted and more.
