Where There's A Blade: The Chronicles of Breed: Book 6 Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 98 ratings

"It's all about the swagger in the Midnight Court because a first impression might be all you get."

After bringing a bloodhungry demon back to Valen, Breed's life is saved by a prince of the Midnight Court.

But all is not well in the greatest city in the Empire. Revolution is in the air, gangs are fighting for supremacy, and plague is spreading.

Armed with little more than a kitchen knife and a bad attitude, Breed must fight for a place in the Midnight Court and wreak revenge on Duke Leopold and the creature wearing Mother Blake's skin.

Where There's a Blade is the sixth and final book in The Chronicles of Breed.

KT Davies accidentally became a professional actor, was in a Troma movie, and performed in an award-winning play at the Edinburgh Festival. KT has also worked as a drama teacher, a scaffolder, and a server in numerous restaurants because, actor. At some point our hero skidded sideways into theatrical prop making, (including work for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre), before falling into the dread, Pit of Writing, which it turns out, isn't actually that dreadful.

5.0 out of 5 stars You will love it!

I had been waiting ages for the next installment of Breed's adventures. Bought as soon as it was released but delayed reading as I was in the middle of another series. If you like swords and sorcery fantasy with a bit of humour I urge you to give K.T Davies books a try, they are brilliant. And Breed is such a great character. Love it. More please K.T. ❤️

One of the best fantasy series going. A really interesting protagonist, a wicked sense of humour and thrill-a-minute action.
Sadly now at an end, but we've heard that before haven't we, coves?

5.0 out of 5 stars You've got to admire Breeds tenacity

Another great addition to The Chronicles of Breed! Make sure you re-read #5 as a few old names, faces and places return. Glad that Okzar survived the last book (Breeds companions don't have a long life expectancy). Another cliffhanger ending... Ready for Book 7!

5.0 out of 5 stars Book 6 but not losing momentum
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 9, 2025
I've been reading the Breed books for the last six years and I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every one. KT Davies really knows how to build worlds and write characters that you enjoy, relate to and care for. Full of action, some laughs, and some of the best written fight scenes I've read. This may be book six but it's not lost any of its momentum. Read the series you won't be disappointed.
