As much as Legend wants to claim Finn, he can’t. Finn belongs to the Killough Company, and once the job is done, he’ll be sent back to America. The day Finn will be forced to leave is a ticking time bomb they both ignore. Legend will do everything in his power to make sure Finn stays, but his focus needs to be on his local enemies. Everyone’s life is on the line as the fight grows more violent. If Legend and Finn make it out alive, will they be able to stay together? Or will Finn have to go home alone?

    could have sold me on this! Whoever that model is, he must have to just sweep the bodies out of his way after they fall at his feet from 'wooooo'!!!
    This was a great book! I am eager for another. The chemistry was off the charts! Yet, there was also a storyline. (Sometimes, authors have a hard time balancing the two. Maybe, often, it helps to have 2 writers.)
    I liked that the book wasn't just some 'five minute read'. Time was taken to make it lengthy and something to immerse yourself into. I hope the series develops the same way.
    To me, an American, even though there WAS an Austrailian slang glossary, it was still a bit odd to read so much of it. Yet, I could figure most of it out. That also doesn't happen in a lot of books.
    Even though we just saw him for a bit in the lingerie shop, I'd like to see Easton get a book. I bet he'd be the perfect blend of funny and snarky.
    Overall, the one word to use for this book would be INTENSE!!!

    Finn McCorkell is a man that enjoys the more delicate things in life… he loves to look beautiful and wearing delicate clothing gives him that sense of beauty he longs for but after a horrible accident that leaves him scarred he doesn’t have the confidence he once had.. but no worries because our man Legend is up for the task of making sure his Lolly not only looks beautiful always but knows he’s beautiful inside and out scars and all!!

    As soon as Legend set his eyes on Finn there was nothing and no one that was going to take Finn from him!! Legend was hooked before even knowing Finn’s name and all bets were off when he found out Finn was one of the men Mr. Killough had sent to Australia to help him with his Italian problems! Finn became Legend’s everything and even though he was sweet and caring to his beautiful Jellyfish (have to read it to understand) and to his Lolly (Finn) …Legend was a Ruthless man and no one crossed him or the people he cared about and lived.. he would throw you into his beautiful jellies tank and not blink an eye!! And trust me those jellies are ruthless!

    Oh and let’s not forget the spice because lawddd it was spicin. Those pages were definitely melting and Legend was definitely carrying a beast ( if you know what I mean 😉)

    Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to seeing what’s coming next in the series 😍

    A new installment in the New Gothenburg world takes us all the way to Australia to meet a new crime family. The Sweeneys are so wonderfully relaxed and yet still completely deadly.

    Legend and Finn's story is sweet and steamy. Legend is exactly the person Finn needs to help him with his self-consciousness after his accident and his love of pretty dresses. It's so wonderful to see him grow in confidence and become comfortable in his skin.

    The cast of side characters includes some familiar faces from New York, as well as some new ones. I am looking forward to finding out what happens with the other Sweeney siblings after the odd bits that have been teased here.

    All of 'Survive series is a highlight, but this book tops those.

    Some of the USA crew like Fallon are great and Legend's mom in particular is great fun.
    I can't wait for the cop near the end to get involved in a book.

    This new series takes place in Australia with Legend as the head of the mob. The Irish Americans send some guys over to help him keep the Italian mafia away from their territory. Finn is one of these men and has recently been disfigured on a job and is very self-conscious. Finn has a little secret, though, and enjoys dressing in lingerie and beautiful dresses, heels, and wearing make-up. They meet by accident in a club and are shocked when they meet officially the next morning. Legend falls head over heels for Finn and is very possessive and loving. He calls Finn his Lolly, which makes me smile every time.

    Their attraction is instant, and one can feel the chemistry. There are a few scuffles the men are involved in, funny moments and sexy times. Whilst I enjoyed it, I felt it needed a bit more but look forward to seeing who is up next.

    I like to imagine the authors did a research trip to Townsville and claimed it on taxes.

    Because the heat of north Queensland burns up off the pages in more ways than one.

    The couple make complete sense together and Legend Sweeney with his killer Jellyfish is a great creation.

    There is a viciousness to the violence written by these writers that I have never enjoyed and some of their books I have not finished because of it. But one of my hall of fame mm romances is by these two. It's interesting to analyze because I enjoy proper dark themes and other writers who I love are objectively more violent. The Australian setting lends itself to several discussions on guns and crime which contextualized the violence in the story well.
