Meet Hate Love: An Enemies to Lovers Romantic Comedy Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 349 ratings

Saddling up on a face like Vance Morgan's would have probably been worth ten Hail Marys and a short stay in purgatory—if he hadn't been the vainest, most cavalier, arrogant man I'd ever met.

Out of all the people for me to be stuck on a work trip to Paris with, it would have to be Vance Morgan—my office enemy with soul-sucking green eyes and lips I regretfully had a thing for.

Although, us getting roped into this assignment together was kind of my fault…because I tried to blackmail him. In my defense, what else was I supposed to do when I discovered he had a social media account dedicated to pictures of his man-meat stick in front of world monuments?

It was the perfect plan, but of course, Vance couldn’t just lie down and take it. He had to blackmail me right back. Hence why I’m now traveling around Europe, writing articles on how to survive vacationing with someone you don’t like. But after a few nights in tiny hotel rooms with tension mounting like the lava beneath Mount Etna, things came to a very steamy head.

It's fine. What happens in Paris stays in Paris, until it doesn’t… Because what I brought back with me from that trip was more than my heart had ever bargained for.

Put a real smile on my face❤️❤️❤️
Gahhhh! How I truly enjoyed Meet Hate Love by Stevie J. Cole! My husband kept giving me amused looks when I couldn’t stop giggling like a schoolgirl all throughout the night, not being able to put the book down. I, not only fell for Vance and Blake’s swooning journey of love, I also fell for the funniest friendship Blake had with her bestie Margot and their ridiculously harebrained ideas. Also, Blake’s word vomits in times of stress were a delight to read. In short, Meet Hate Love made me swoon, laugh out loud, daydream like a teenager and most importantly, it gave me the positive vibes I’ve been so in need of lately. A definitely 5⭐️ star read for me! ❤️❤️❤️

I had my doubts at first. I mean… InstaPic? Lonely Fans? …..Really?

But! It didn’t take long until I was thoroughly entertained.
The scene with the Eiffel Tower rats was hilarious! The Rent-a-Poo family chat debacle was absolutely priceless! And the Mr. Snuffleupagus story had me giggling out loud!

I LOVE the way they ended up switching up the name-magnet board!

This story was just SO funny & really good. I liked how it wasn’t overly melodramatic and it didn’t have an unnecessarily angsty, drawn-out, heartbreaking portion either because those are annoyingly predictable in 90% of stories.

Honestly, this story was really more of a 4.5-4.75 stars for me—mostly because I’m picky AF with my 5 star ratings, but I really did like it, so I decided to be nice & round up a bit.
    Read it!!

Relatable and unexpectedly hilarious. I really enjoyed reading this book. Between the main characters and the supporting characters everybody has somebody to relate to. I absolutely loved the kick in the face because things never turned out the sexy way we think they will and it's boring and trite for things to just go perfectly.
I would have loved to see this as a series. Grace and Theo and Margot and the Rent-a-poo guy. I could see Kate on a journey of self discovery after finding out Jimbo was a loser. I would absolutely LOVE to know Amanda's story.

This was a good quick read. The spice was nice, it didn't dominate the story but it also didn't disappoint. My only dislike was how neatly wrapped every little point was in the epilogue.
    They're married (of course)
    pregnant (of course)
years of toxic family trauma healed by the new husband (of course)

Cut out the epilogue 5/5. With it, it just felt too... Make-believe, especially when the rest of the book felt more honest.

This is seriously the cutest and funniest book I've ever read. Literally I'm a mom of a two (both of whom are currently sick) and devoured this while laying in bed with the youngest sicky. He got mad often because I couldn't stop laughing. I think I need an extended epilogue.. please? And can we include a confrontation between Vance and Jimbo? I'd really like to see Vance kick his behind.

ARC reader! (: Stevie said this book was different from her usual books & I’ve read a few others and liked them. She SMASHED this one! This book is so good, it’s funny & steamy! I love that it was Vance with the Lonely Fans account and that it was pretty much just a joke. The descriptions of a peen in tourists spots with doodles drawn on it was hilarious. And the rent-a-pop?! Lmao I can not!!! Definitely a must read!

If you’re anything like me then the blurb for this story definitely hooked you. Let me tell you, you won’t be disappointed. This book was so humorous. It really starts off with a bang from the very first page. The banter between Vance and Blake was so well-written. I could read 100 more books about these two. My favorite thing about this book is that the author avoids that dragged out and clinched misunderstanding that so many other rom-coms fall victim to. I love the beginning, middle, and end of this book. It’s safe to say, you should read this if you’re ready for a laugh.

Stevie Cole knocked this rom com out of the park. I loved this laugh out loud -tears in my eyes - story of two traveling journalists. Blake considers herself cursed with bad luck and Vance takes his manhood on travels for his Lonely Fans account he started to help pay his grandma’s debt. They haven’t gotten along since a misunderstanding at a New Years Eve party. But this trip and all of its debacles show them how right for each other they are. If you like Meghan Quinn, you will love this book!!!

It’s 7:30am and I just finished MHL in lieu of sleep. Stevie’s writing is superb, and I’m pretty sure I woke the neighbours several times because I laughed so hard at Blake and Vance’s antics.

They truly are it for each other. If I had met them separately, I know for a fact that I would have introduced them to each other.

Paris and Rome are romantic as can be, but being there with someone who you love to hate? SIGH. I’m suddenly very interested in travel magazines.

10/10 recommend reading Meet Hate Love and getting to know peen-pic sidekick and Paul’s owner.

Meet Hate Love was a hilarious laugh out loud romance full of witty one liners, crazy adventures and scorching chemistry.

Blake and Vance are like chalk and cheese he's a perfectionist and she's a chaotic mess but in this case opposites really do attract with hilarious and steamy consequences.

I absolutely loved Blake and Vance all the back and forth, se*ual tension and witty banter between them was addictive and kept me glued to the pages.

I really liked Margot and Theo too, they were fantastic additions to the story.

A few smiles, a handful of chuckles and giggles and at least 4 moments where I laughed out loud. From someone who can often read a so-called rom com start to finish without even cracking a smile, I'd say this tally equates to a successfully funny book.
