    I really enjoy Katy Evans’s writing style and the way it allows me to feel involved in the story. This book was captivating, engaging and romantic, I just could not put it down. The way this story is written, so full of depth and raw emotions, is what makes it so absorbing and believable. It is very much a character driven story, and the author takes the time to build her characters and their relationship. I really felt like I’d got to know them and their happy ending felt completely believable. I loved watching them find solace in each other.

    Sara is everything I love in a strong female protagonist. She has a vulnerable and innocent quality in her, yet her strength and her hope to one day fulfill her dreams is what makes her so endearing.

    Ian Ford…. This sinfully delicious hero made my heart melt into a puddle of goo! He is charming, thoughtful, caring and utterly swoon worthy. And yet he can be jaded, elusive and even brutally honest at times. Ian is bitter over his failed marriage and impending divorce. It is far from settled and his ex’ s blackmail has taken a toll on him.

    Neither expected each other to mean to them what they did but they both acknowledge that their mutual feelings are anything but casual. It was absolutely beautiful to watch them fall for each other. The romance between Sara and Ian was perfectly portrayed. Their relationship grew in a realistic manner. I especially enjoyed watching Sara step into the light, with Ian’s full support.

    Of course, the ending is a foregone conclusion, but it's still magic every time. This one is definitely a book I finished with a sigh, a smile … and a huge book hangover. Although this is a standalone book, it’s part of a series and in being so we also get the chance to revisit some parts of Tycoon’s Bryn and Aaric’s story , as both stories run simultaneously.

    Phew! *fans self* Ian and Sara are H-O-T hot!! Right from the start, I knew I was in for a sexy good time. When we first met these characters in Tycoon (Mogul is a standalone. You do not need to read Tycoon first.), I was like okay, there is a story here and I NEED it!! Thankfully, Katy Evans did not let me down. Mogul is a so good. I wish I had more.

    I loved these characters. Loved them!! Sara is smart, sassy, dreams driven. I love her relationship with her mother. As her family life falls apart, she is there to console and care for her mom.
    Then there's Ian. My goodness! I am crazy about Ian. Sara has it right. He is so YUMMY. His sexy aura radiates off the page. I always seem to fall for the hot guys in the suits. Ian Ford is no different.

    I really enjoyed this book. It reads quick and flowed smoothly. The character chemistry is off the charts. If you looking for a passionate, entertaining and enthralling story, then pick up Katy Evans' Mogul.

    Katy Evans is one of my auto-buy, go in blind authors and that is exactly what I did with Mogul. As ever, Katy Evans always delivers a great hero and Ian Ford certainly ticks that box. Katy Evans delivers the perfect blend of romance, swoon and chemistry as Sara and Ian’s story unfolds with some great dialogue while entrenched in a rather low angst story for a Katy Evans book.

    Sara was my biggest issue in this book, I liked her, but I didn’t love her as a person. For some reason I just couldn’t connect with her and because of that lack of connection, I didn’t feel her worthy of Ian Ford. I found her a bit vapid and especially annoying at times, incredibly empty of just everything. Some of her dialogue was irritating and immature and I just couldn’t get past the lack of familiarity with her.

    “It’s not casual for me…It hasn’t been for a while. But I don’t want you to hurt me, you stupid, yummy motherf***er.”

    However, Ian Ford, I loved. A man that was incredibly jaded, had been burned badly and had stayed away from emotional attachments to women since he left his cheating ass wife. Going through a messy divorce with a reluctant gold digger was just the tip of the iceberg for our enigmatic workaholic. However, when he crosses paths with Sara, smitten is the word on the edge of his lips.

    “You’re effing right I’m scared—I’m effing in love with you! If I used to feel anything for my ex-wife, it pales in comparison to what I feel for you—do you get me, Sara?”

    I loved that there was a little simultaneous crossover with Bryn and Aaric from Tycoon and Katy Evans brings some great secondary characters into Mogul, especially Ian’s mum. While this wasn’t my favourite read from Katy Evans it was still a one sitting job. I loved (Ian), swooned (Ian) and adored (Ian). So, if you want a swoon fest, Ian more than meets the mark.

    After finishing I am trying to process the story and still not sure where to start...I guess it's quite simple;  I am absolutely and wholeheartedly in love with Mr. Ford. 

    Seriously peeps....Ian Ford is one hotter than hot, demanding yummylicious, workaholic. On the surface he seems not to be caring at all, but if you get to know him better and can catch a deeper glimpse into his soul, you will find he does have a heart, a really beautiful one! 

    The story itself is about two people who couldn't be more different. Sara is a dancer / concierge, he is a film producer. You know the saying “opposites attract”? Their attraction is out of this world.  Amazing, pulling, stealing your heart and bloody hot. You feel it through to your bones.

    I hope it’s allowed to bring this excerpt because I loved this part the most.... full of emotions...full of love even without them knowing it...

    I loved this book. It's another homerun for me from Katy Evans. It's her characterisation. It's so strong that it just makes the characters seem so real.
    I loved the dual perspectives of dating a man going through a divorce and that lens, and then the lens of her mother in pain because her father has left her. Two side of the coin and I thought it was so clever that she included that.
    A must read for any Katy Evans fan.
