- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2022Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI bought the workbook for a frustrated five-year-old who was having trouble expressing emotions. This book was perfect! The pages were fun and thoughtful, which helped define feelings. I'd highly recommend it to parents, teachers, and daycares!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2023Format: PaperbackThis is a great idea for an activity/coloring book. Instead of learning about dinosaurs and monsters, the child can learn about their feelings while they have fun with all the puzzles and games. I especially liked the finger puppets and the suggestions to make up plays about what the characters are feeling. I received a free copy of this book from the author.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2023Format: PaperbackThis sweet children’s activity book educates children about their feelings and emotions. It also sparks a conversation between grownups and children that it is hard to stay happy all day and it is OK to feel sad, frustrated, or even sometimes angry.
Through the coloring and thoughtful activities, children will learn how to recognize their emotions and how to manage their feelings.
Puzzles and games! Motivational coloring pages! The finger puppets! Plays with the characters about their feeling! Writing about feelings! Solving problems! Mazes! Crafting! Lots MORE! It helps children to understand their feelings and how to deal with them.
Bottom line: It is a fun book that supplies healthy therapy for children and parents. It encourages them to get out their pencils or crayons, sit down, and do together something useful. There is a good variety of activities and drawings that focus on healthy emotions that may lead to a good discussions between a child, parents, teachers, or caregiver. Together, they can learn how to control and deal with negative feelings or emotions.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2023Format: PaperbackThis is a fantastic activity book on emotions and feelings that preschoolers and kindergarteners will enjoy completing. A great gift and also offers opportunities for important discussions on a kids' social and emotional growth.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2023Format: PaperbackI really enjoyed the open-ended nature of this workbook. A parent, teacher, or even a kid, could look through and find a section that would apply to their personal situation at any point in life. It would allow for exploring and naming feelings and discussing hurt, fear, and other negative realities. It also offers positive pep-talk kind of coloring pages, bookmarks, and posters. A great beginning resource for parents and educators dealing with kids and their complicated life issues.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2023Format: PaperbackAnother activity book hit by Mackay! I have a couple of her other activity books, and this one is just as good if not better. Each page focuses on self-reflection (maybe with a little help from mom or dad!) on a variety of emotions and helps kids understand and own their feelings. I love that the book gives parents the guidance in how to describe certain emotions in ways that young kids can understand while offering praise and love along the way. It would be kind of neat to have kids work through this book every couple of years to see how they've grown and matured. Nice job and always looking forward to seeing what she comes out with next.
