About the author

Welcome to my humble abode on the interwebs! Who am I, you ask? Well, I'm a wordsmith who creates literary magic in my fuzzy pants while surrounded by my furry feline friends and beloved equine companions. I pen Sweet Historical Romance and Sweet Contemporary Romance under the pen name London James, while my alter ego, Angela Christina Archer, delves into Historical Fiction, Women's Fiction, and Historical Romance.
Hailing from the wilds of Nevada, reading was never my top priority when I had horses to ride and shows to attend. But when I did find a quiet moment, I devoured the Saddle Club Series, Sweet Valley High, and the classics like Anne of Green Gables, The Box Car Children, and Little House on the Prairie. Writing always fascinated me, but it wasn't until 2009 that I finally took the plunge and started penning my debut novel.
When I'm not lost in the world of words, you'll find me on my ranch with my doting hubby, two beautiful daughters, and an assortment of farm animals. As a homeschooling mom, I keep busy from dawn till dusk, tending to my garden, baking up a storm, and ensuring my furry and feathered friends are happy and healthy. Though I've retired from showing horses, I still hit the trails with my trusty paint horse, Honky, and love teaching my daughter how to ride her handsome horse, Chubs.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2025Book one was a very good book to read. This book is written by London James and is written very well. A place in Montana called Featherstone Valley is a quiet town in which very little happens. Until the new paster comes, the new gossip column is started up in the local paper that is always talking about the pastor. Secrets. The secret son shows up with his wife and his aunt. More secrets come out. Yet what happens is what makes this a very enjoyable book to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2024OK, I was really loving this book. Blessings in Featherstone Valley Book #1. Then it ends before it has an ending. I know that some Series books lead to Book # 2 and #3. But this story had no real ending. Just drifted to nothing. I am so disappointed! Would not recommend unless you bought the entire series. The story was really interesting til it ended though so I did change my rating to 4 stars from 3.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2024This story is truly touching and resonates deeply. Adversity is a universal experience, and this narrative not only reflects that reality but also delves into its complexities. Throughout the chapters, divine wisdom illuminates the pages, bringing God's truths to light.
Many people think they can navigate life without this wisdom, but I disagree. As a retired health professional with extensive university education, I still found profound insights in this story. The wisdom wasn't just in avoiding miscommunications but in the art of listening, thoughtfully evaluating, and responding without malice—an approach that stands out, with the exception of the aunt's behavior.
I eagerly anticipate the next book in this series, which is unusual for me as I'm not typically drawn to series. However, the author's discernment and spiritual insight have captivated my interest. May God bless her immensely.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2024This is a sweet heartfelt story.
I loved Sarah and her faith.
Jack was kind and sweet.
Loved their love story but this was left incomplete, it just ended abruptly with no resolution?
I look to the next book synopsis but see no mention of them?
- Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2024Sarah had established an inn in a small town after the death of her husband. Jack came to town as the new pastor for Featherstone Valley. He didn't start out by revealing all of his past. Would those secrets bring failure to his hopes or would Sarah be a help to move him forward?
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2024Where to start? I absolutely LOVED every single page of this delightful book! It’s pages lifted my spirit and filled me with joy! Some things were not always pleasant, as such is real life, but in the end, the Lord leads many people toward forgiveness, away from pre-conceived ideas planted in their minds by a jealous Aunt, and toward LOVE. ♥️. The Lord has a way of revealing truth to people! And, I so love a beautifully written happy ever after! You will fall in love with the heroine and hero in this book, just as I did! I want to go live in Featherstone Valley, now!! 🙏♥️🤗🥰

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2024I enjoyed this story. It drew me in from the beginning. But, the poor grammar and misplaced quotation marks on every couple of pages were very distracting. I sometimes had to read a sentence a couple of times before I figured out what the author was trying to say. Example: "He couldn't deny he wasn't interested." They say not to use a double negative, but a triple one? So... he wasn't interested? Why not just say that? But then he acted interested! I think she should have said he couldn't deny he WAS interested. Also, I'm tired of not knowing that the story is about to end. According to Kindle, I was 88% through, when it ended. The rest is filler and advertisement for other books. The cover is beautiful, and I'd like to find out what happens with the mine, but I don't know if I want to read another whole book, if it's going to be as hard to read as this one.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2024This is a new author to me but the first book peaked my curiosity. I enjoyed learning about Sarah and Jack. They had both learned to live after the loss of their spouses, but they both still had a lot of pain. I enjoyed the friendship they began, it was sweet and helped them both learn to trust and hope again.
Their characters were well developed and interesting, and I want to know more about this little town. I will read more of this series as it unfolds.
