About the Author

Jeanette O'Hagan first spun tales in the world of Nardva at the age of eight or nine. She enjoys writing secondary world fiction, poetry, blogging and editing. Her Nardvan stories span continents, time and cultures. They involve a mixture of courtly intrigue, adventure, romance and/or shapeshifters and magic users.

Recent publications include Akrad's Children - the first novel in Akrad's Legacy Series-a Young Adult secondary world fantasy fiction with adventure, courtly intrigue and romantic elements. Also the first two novellas in the Under the Mountain series the Heart of the Mountain and Blood Crystal (sequel to Heart of the Mountain), plus short stories The Herbalist's Daughter and Lakwi's Lament.

This year she has had stories published in six anthologies (Crossroads, Futurevision, Redemption, Tales from the Underground, Quantum Soul, Redemption - - with some more to come.

Jeanette has practised medicine, studied communication, history, theology and a Master of Arts (Writing). She loves reading, painting, travel, catching up for coffee with friends, pondering the meaning of life. She lives in Brisbane with her husband and children.
