    Most of the book is forced proximity, with Holden, a young man returning home feeling like a failure, and Michael, the man he's crushed on since high school. Michael is also going through his own life crisis when the two get stuck together, snowed in a cabin for a couple weeks. Those weeks change everything.

    This is my first book by author Hayden Hall, and it won’t be the last. I’ve always been a sucker for second chance stories and this one delivers. Holden and Michael have been friends for years. One kiss changed that all when they were young. Holden moved away and tried to mend his broken heart. One fired Holden, and one confused Michael, throw in a blizzard and a cabin. Gin is involved along with a deck of cards. Theses two have to fight a bigot father, a tight wad dad and a uncle who knows how to help the two boys. This is a great book, second chance story. Love, hurt, steamy and a stupid blizzard.
