- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseDo Flies Tell Lies? is a fun book that will keep kids engaged all the way to the fun conclusion. I mean, how can it not be fun when the hero is a horse fly? Set in the wild west, the book has many elements, from a story that involves a horse fly who wants to be sheriff, but is seen as a pest; to the really solid musical rhyming word pattern; to fun drawings of the Wild West where it all takes place. On top of all of that, are the times where the author shares actual information to teach young readers real facts about the animals in the story. Do Flies Tell Lies? is a clever creative romp, with great messages and a feel-good ending. No horsing around, this book is really good.

As you’re reading, you’re learning about animals in the wild and lots of lessons you and little ones didn’t know. There’s a short quiz at the end, so you will see how much your little one remembered. Enjoy!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchasePreviously I read "Do bees say please" and I found it absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this book as much. Many times the story felt contrived just to make it rhyme. It's not a horrible book, it just didn't measure up to the standard of the first one I read in the series, so I was disappointed.
