- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2022I'm new to the podcasting world and very interested in how to get started, first as being a guest, and perhaps as my confidence grows, in becoming a host. PODMATCH has come up a few times as I've asked around about a good place to get started. I heard they have a couple books out, so I checked it out here on AMAZON and ordered them. They are PODMATCH Host Mastery and PODMATCH Guest Mastery. Easy reads and very helpful. The books are specifically written to help podcasters navigate on PODMATCH. It's written by a number of authors who are members. They share how they optimize the service this site offers. Even though I'm not a member at this point, the information is insightful for anyone interested in or already involved in podcasting. After reading the books I looked up the PODMATCH site. It's impressive. The authors of these two books share the co-founders philosophy of basically, whether host or guest, always look to add value to others. Love it.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2022I am a podcast guest, but I bought this book to get into the mind of a podcast host, to see if I could learn how to become an even better guest. What I learned will give me a book on more podcasts, but also taught me what it takes to be a successful podcast host, which may be in the future! this book is a must read for anyone in podcasting.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2022As a Podcast host, finding guests has been the hardest aspect of running a successful show. This book is full of insights from experienced Podcasters on HOW to crack the code and find guests that align with your show's value. Super great tips and ideas. If you're struggling with this topic, this book is a must-read.
PS - Easy, casual read that I knocked out in one day.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2022As someone who has dabbled in the space of Podcasting, I wanted to learn what the best of the best are doing to book high-quality guests on their podcast, and grow their show at the same time.
I skimmed through this book to find what issues I had when I failed at my podcast. It turns out that finding quality guests in your niche is a heavy part of the equation (I had interviewed a collection of guests that gave general business advice like a million other podcasts out there).
The Q&A format of this book is similar to its "sister book" Guest Mastery. It's clear and cuts to the most pertinent questions on what it takes to be a host that people actually listen to.
Something I found interesting was this concept of the "one-pager" for guests. It's almost like a resume for being on a show and allows you to quickly sift through guests that don't match your niche.
4 Stars for format, content, and interviews
-1 Star for not giving enough thought to table of contents (i had to google people's names)
