- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2025Well, that was a helluva fun ride. Excellent storyline, fun concept, my only complaint is that Mr. Briggs obviously never served in a Navy. Doors go through bulk heads (think walls), hatches go through decks ( think floors or ceilings), unless you are on a submarine, then they're ALL hatches. And a graduate of the Naval Academy would be an Ensign, not a Gorman (or in this case yoewoman??). Regardless, a good read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2024The storyline was good, but there were so many grammar errors my train of thought vanished. This author desperately needs to proofread before publishing another book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2022I didn't enjoy the premise of the book, the author has some solid hits, this wasn't one . Still read his other books, skip this one.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2025Point Nemo is the 4th, and, by a significant margin, the best of the 4 Majestic Files available to date. The characters, especially Scott, are flawed, believable, and relatable. The writing is crisp and well formed, with the single exception of a simply typo I noted. The plot is the best of the Majestic Files, tense and well paced. Recommended for any sci-fi thriller fans, and thriller fans in general. 5/5 stars!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good stories, but proof reader desperately needed.
The story lines in these books were imaginative, characters and scenarios well written. However - and the reason for 4 stars, not 5 - there were hundreds of errors - missing letters and words, the former things like the instead of then/m, his instead of this, were instead of where and vice versa; the latter often 'joining words such as the, as, in, of, etc. - incorrect tenses - was/were, drag/dragged, etc. - and homophone errors - were/where, knew/new, now/know, etc. I personally found this a great distraction to the stories as started expecting them on each page - and unfortunately, I usually found them!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great story spoiled by poor grammar
A great book isn't just the storyline. It's the grammar, spelling......and just using the right words in the right context. This lacks any form of proof reading or editing. Shame as the plot is creative!

4.0 out of 5 stars more than good
This is my second Andy Briggs book and i would love to read some more. Problem, most of the time they are
not available. I'm on a continue watch to see if one of them comes on the market. For a reason, they are a little low on the character building but heavy on the spooky action. The man writes good.
