Hannah Gray spends her days in vacationland, living in a small, quaint town on the coast of Maine. She is an avid reader of contemporary romance and is always in competition with herself to read more books every year.

During the day, she loves on her three perfect-to-her daughters and tries to be the best mom she can be. But once she tucks them in at night—okay, scratch that. Once they fall asleep next to her in her bed—because their bedrooms apparently have monsters in them—she dives into her own fantasy world, staying awake well into the late-night hours, typing away stories about her characters. As much as she loves being a wife and mom—and she certainly does love it—reading and writing are her outlet, giving her a place to travel far away while still physically being with her family.

She married her better half in 2013, and he’s been putting up with her craziness every day since. As her anchor, he’s her one constant in this insane, forever-changing world.

This might just be Hannah's spiciest book to date and I AM HERE FOR IT! I've been looking forward to Cam Hardy's book for a while now and it blew my mind! Cam, all around campus puck boy, falls HARD for Addison...all she wanted was a one night stand with someone who could deliver. Cam and Addison's story (she's the hockey coach's daughter) is freaking amazing. Hockey romance...check. Dual POV...check. Forbidden Romance...check. Strong female character who happens to be a single mom to the most adorable 3 year old, Isla (that she had in high school)...checkity check check. Cam's one true love has always been hockey. Girls have come and go, but none of them stuck...until her. They had a few BIG bumps on their road to a HEA, but it only made them stronger and fight that much harder. Hannah put together an incredible tale (and made me miss when my kids were little something fierce), I can't get enough of these three! This is hockey romance perfection!

    I loved this book. Cam and Addison story was one that made me happy, hot, breathless and at times bothered. The writer drew me in from the first page and I couldn't put down the book until the very last page. I had to know everything that was going on, and needed to know if what the ending held.

    This book made me so glad that their are men out there like Cam. Even though he had a bad reputation with the ladies and Addison, he changed everything about himself to shoe her he was the man for not only her, but the daddy her daughter Isla needed. He quickly proved not only Addison wrong, but her father, his hockey coach wrong as well. Cam gave me hope that their are real men like him out there.

    Addison didn't have an easy life. She was a single mom who got pregnant in high school. Even though she had an amazing sport system within her family, she so thought she had to do it all by herself. She had so much in her shoulders. Going to school full-time and stepping up to make sure her daughter never thought she wasn't enough. Addison didn't have how in dating and love. She thought her sperm donor would step up and do the right thing, but never took responsibility from day 1. She never wanted to miss a single day of her daughters life. She was an amazing mother, and daughter.

    All Addison wanted was an orgasm from the famous puck boy. Although she had no clue he played hockey that first time. Just 1 big O to get her through her junior year. It was so much more than that. Her father had forbidden her from dating his hockey players since Isla's real father was one. But she couldn't get enough of Cam, and visa-versa. Even though Addison fought it almost every step of the way, she finally caved to Cam. Just to leave him heartbroken when he got the call to the NHL.. She never thought she was enough, or deserved to be happy even though she loved him. It took something traumatic for her to finally see she was enough.

    Isla was the cutest and smartest 3 year old ever. She tickled me pink the whole book. You never knew what was going to come out of that girl's mouth. That little girl loved Cam just as much of not more than he loved her. She wanted Cam to be her daddy, and I was so happy that Cam wanted to be her father. Their relationship was one of beauty and nothing but straight love. Anyone with eyeballs could read that. I know it was rough on Cam to actually play against Isla's real dad. That boy said some pretty awful things. I would have liked him talking about my little girl like that. Cam was a saint. Even when Addison broke his heart, Cam loved Addison as though he was her real dad and that girl missed him truly. I loved the ending of the book. What Cam did for both of them bright years to my eyes.

    This was such a beautiful book. I enjoyed every second and every page that I read. Plus being a puck boy, Cam sure did make this book a spicy one 🥵🌶

I only gave 4 stars because I would’ve liked to have a bonus scene or epilogue added but mostly because I didn’t care for the 3rd act breakup. I do love a happily ever after though! They had a very cute happily ever after. The only thing I would change is *Spoiler alert* I would’ve liked to see how they settled into Boston. Other than that it was a beautiful story.

    This is my first read by Hannah Gray. The title drew me in. I loved this book! Addison & Cam are absolutely adorable together. Isla only adds to the story as she is also a lovable character. Addison's internal struggles with being a single mom were relatable and you really felt for her during the times she gets too into her head.

    Addison was such a strong FMC. She became a single mom at the age of 17 and she was only focused on providing a good life for her daughter, ignoring all distractions that took her away from her one focus! So agreeing to a friends-with-benefits relationship wasn't a bad idea. Only Cam had another idea. He wasn't willing to let Addison go, especially after he found out about her adorable daughter! And quickly falls in love with her too! They have a lot of hurdles that they need to get through, but I loved the determination and open communication that they had. They refused to give up and found their way to a well-deserving HEA.

    3.5 stars. There are a few grammatical errors. There is also a lot of repetition. The characters think and say the same thing several times. Isla's sperm donor not being around, not being there during the delivery, not claiming his daughter is mentioned more than a dozen times. We don't have to be reminded of the whole situation every time. We got it. Also, things characters said sometimes were over explained. I know the MMC isn't judging her for being a mom, so I don't need to be told that he asked about her daughter non-judgementally.
    The characters we good. They were a bit shallow, but they were still interesting, and I enjoyed watching their story unfold. The side characters were interesting as well.
    The MMC is a huge cinnamon roll. Great loyalty and devotion. The FMC is strong and very self-aware. They made a good pair.

    Hannah Gray never dissappoints. I am a little late to this series, I was introduced to her through the New England Bay Sharks series. Puck Boy had me entranced from the second I opened the book to the second I put it down. The characters are all so well written and you get enough of their back stories to understand why they are the way they are now but not so much that it takes away from the story. I haven't read many single mom books but in this one I was so happy with how well Isla was immediately accepted by Cam and he never faltered in his love for her even when Addy made it hard. I cannot wait to read about the rest of the team to see what else Hannah can do to my poor battered heart.

    I love when an author is about to take a character that you question slightly when you meet him but then they do a complete 360 and steal your heart. Let’s be honest, when we met Cam is past books he was an ass.

    You can see why he may be defensive/rude when he starts coming around his estranged best friend (Beau<3) so I was excited to see how his journey would unfold.

    I absolutely loved Addison especially after that first chapter. I went into this story blind and honestly when I realized that Cam was going to fall for someone with a child, I honestly thought it fit so well. The growth we see with his character and the moments with Isla is just so so good.

    If you are a mom, you know that you don’t get a lot of time to yourself. So I laughed when Cam was trying to get to know her during their night together and Addison only has her mind on one thing. Getting it on and getting home. Her sass was hilarious and the chemistry between them was straight fire from the beginning.

    They have a lot of hurdles that they need to get through but I loved the determination and open communication that they had. They refused to give up and found their way to a well deserving HEA.

    Now it’s the waiting game to jump back into this universe and I can’t wait.

    This book is a whirl wind of emotions, it takes you on a journey from start to finish, it is so well written and the characters are very relatable. I couldn’t put this book down, I had to read more (what’s sleep right?. You tell me because I gave it up just to keep reading!) I have always been someone who struggled to read a book from start to finish, I would loose interest and prefer to be outside doing something, but this book was one I will never forget. For the first time in my life I needed to finish the book! Very well written!
