    Awwwwww!!! Landry and his Starchild are the staring couple of this book who hear the Call. And they are so friggin adorable!!!!!
    We knew this was going to happen from events in a previous book but it is still an AMAZING adventure!!! Lots of fun and visits with old friends along with plenty of spice. And the epilogues?!?!? Y’all know why a certain someone is born where they are - this just ensures more adventures down the road. Absolutely loved it!!!

    I love Landry. He loves his family and the ranch and animals. He is so kind and sweet and loving. He gives Star space. I like Star. She is stubborn and independent and stands on her own two feet. I love that she is able to break free from her anger and move forward. She loves her Gramma and the Sunday School Ladies so much. In the end they are kindred hearts and souls. This cute story stirred my heart.

    Starchild is free spirited nomad. She has returned home to open her own new age shop. She feels happy and centered. Then she and her grandmother go to visit some friends. One of them, Gandalf tells her that she and Landry Graham have been chosen by the mountain spirit to be fated mates. Starchild hasn't even spoken to Landry even though he seems to spend quite some side sitting outside her shop. Starchild is angry that someone is controlling so when she returns home she hunts him down and gives him a piece of her mind. Then she takes off and goes on a retreat to recenter herself. It doesn't happen but she returns home she is willing to give Landry a chance.

    Landry has always been attracted to Starchild but he hasn't been able to take a chance with her. He has spent a lot of time parked outside her store trying to get the courage to go talk to her. Then one night while he and his family is at a book event, Starchild comes over to him and starts yelling at him. She tells him that she isn't going to give control of her future to some call of the Mountain Spirit or him. Landry is shocked because he hadn't even felt the call yet. He feels bad because of upset she is. Having her disappear for a couple of weeks leave him on edge until his brother convinces him to go to rodea to fill in as clown. When Landry returns, he is ready to do whatever it takes to let Starchild get to know the real him.

    A book that flowed effortlessly from previous ones in the series. Landry and Starchild are perfect as a couple if only they could connect with each other. It takes months for Landry to approach Starchild. He does not quite believe in the mountains ability to get two mated together by the call. New animals are introduced at the ranch and it comes down to Landry having to make a decision as to stay at the ranch and have Starchild or go back to the rodeo as a clown. Together they make the best decision for them. Four granny sleuths add to the hijinks in this story. This story has drama, conflicts and struggles that this couple overcomes one at a time. Lots of sex scenes are added just to spice things up. This is an intense and passionate tale of true romance with lots of twists and turns. This book has it all - action, alpha man, strong woman, chemistry, sex and emotion. Really a great read and a great addition to the series - looking forward to the next call the mountain makes. I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to read.

    Book Three of Bull Mountain Ranch ie Rancher Seeks his Free Spirit. Landry and Starchilds story both very skeptical about the Mountains “Call”. She is told she is Landry’s “one”! Which is not supposed to work that way. Starchild being the free spirit that she is stomps into a family gathering of Landry’s family and pokes and prods Landry and proceeds to tell him “No Damn Mountain is going to tell her who to love”! She turns around and takes off and leaves. But, as time goes on and her and Landry make sure opportunities to get to know each other happen, it doesn’t take her long to figure out she wants the same person the Mountain chose. Such a wonderful, feel good read, a funny at times, bizzare at times with a crazy duck and now a baby goat added to the mix. I absolutely love all the Mountain “Call” stories I think they are my very favorite of everything I read. Looking forward to Toby’s story next. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
