Raven's Hope (Peacekeepers of Sol Book 8) Kindle Edition
But secrets remain concealed
The price of victory may be far too high
Henry Wong and the United Planets Alliance Expeditionary Fleet have broken open the blockade their enemies forged around their allies, the Terzan. Now, thanks to that restored alliance, they know the truth of their enemy: a genocidal war machine determined to destroy not only its creators but every other organic sentient it can find.
New tools allow Henry and his partner, Ambassador Sylvia Todorovich, to call on old alliances as they rush to save their other enemies from annihilation at the hands of the Liberated Intelligence.
But against the burning of worlds and the death of peoples, any alliance will be considered. Any hope of victory will require laying aside grudges—and the greatest of sacrifices…

- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2025A satisfying end to Henry and Silvia’s story but the ending and final battle felt a bit rushed. Felt that the last stand of the cataphracts was a more epic battle. Would love to see follow up stories from this universe. Maybe with Henry and Silvia’s children with the children of the Londu scion.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2025Solid ending to the series. Waiting on more books in his other series. Want more Duchess of Terra and Scattered Stars series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2024I have never found a book by Mr. Stewart that I didn't enjoy. This is a solid military SF series with generally good characterization and solid pace. The science is well lthought out and consistent.
Two issues prevent me from giving this 5 stars. The first: as in all series of any length (where the reader has read any number of books between episodes) it is sometimes difficult to remember just where you were at the end of the last installment, who was who, and which species were friends and allies or enemies. The second: in many of the author's books the protagonist is presented with a moral quandry. He/she can achieve success by a small compromise of virtue or obtain success by going the extra mile. This did not happen here. A satisfactory conclusion was reached, but it was tad formulaic.
I did, however, enjoy this book and this series and will happily read the author's future works.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2024I'm grateful for Glynn Stewart's work. The plot is solid and yet often surprising. I'm glad the ending was satisfying although missing some people I was sad did not survive. Having followed this series from start to finish is now more meaningful than expected. Well done, very well done. A great story excellently told.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2024I've been reading Glynn's books for a few years now, and I love the variations between each storyline/series. His books are perfect for anyone wanting to explore the potential of what humanity will face once we become an interstellar species. I never thought I'd like military-themed stories, but they are outstanding every time.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2024A fantastic end to a great series. I just reread it all so I’d understand this book. It was worth it, I’ve really enjoyed the finish, but whole series was great. There are lots of twists and turns and almost cliff hangers but a wonderful read.
I’ve only discovered Glynn Stewart this year and have now finished 2 of the series. I’ll be looking up the next one.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2024The beginning pages of this book at something of a slog. I found myself putting it down -- lots of detail and dialogue and honestly a bit boring, HOWEVER, after a bit it gets much much better and the ending is a fitting and exciting conclusion to this very interesting series. To be fair, the book begins by bringing lots of detail and many characters from the previous seven books into focus so that the ending makes sense -- it was just a little hard to get there. Well worth the read (with a little patience).
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2024All good things must come to an end, and sadly this was it for Peacekeeper’s of Sol. The author did a great job with the story and with wrapping up all loose ends from the series.
I’ve become a fan of Glynn Stewart. Look forward to his new book series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A totally engrossing series, start to finish.
This final book in the series wound up in a manner that satisfied me. There were some potential dangling ends that the author left himself open to picking up the series at some point should he want. However, the main story is done from both a diplomatic and military standpoint.
I find it hard to sit down and enjoy king series when there are so many other books on my TBR clamouring for attention. With this series, as with his others, I was completely happy just to keep reading to follow the story.
The crew of the Raven will always have a spot in my heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ravens hope
An enjoyable finale to an excellent series. Though it is sad that it is the end.
The characters were well drawn and believable, a mix of strengths and weaknesses with the main character in particular having weaknesses that stem for his core strengths.
It was also nice to read a series that atleast started with operations other than war, the role of peacekeeping and the balance between military force and diplomatic negotiations.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect
As usual the perfect read. A mixture of action, characters and settings to keep you wanting to turn every page. Loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable
Have really enjoyed this series of books, the characters have been really good to follow how they interact with each other and it's great see how Henry gets himself out of all the trouble he gets himself into.
