RAVENWOOD COVE: A Cozy Mystery Collection: Books 1 - 4 (Carolyn L. Dean's Cozy Mysteries BUNDLES) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 105 ratings

With over HALF A MILLION Ravenwood Cove books in circulation, it’s high time the first four bestsellers were combined into one collection! This newly updated and edited bundle includes:

BED, BREAKFAST, & BONES (book 1)
Amanda Graham inherited a rundown bed and breakfast, a starving cat, and some dead guy who’s buried in her garden!
What should’ve been a simple remodeling project and a new business in a small Oregon beach town winds up with her uncle named as the number one murder suspect, a slew of odd neighbors and problematic townspeople, and Amanda wanting to just sit down and eat her weight in chocolate pie. Sure, she could pack her bags and travel back to LA…or should she dig in, heal from her failed romance, and find a whole new set of friends and adventures in Ravenwood Cove? And how could a quiet little coastal village have so many secrets?

DUNE, DOCK, and a DEAD MAN (book 2)
Amanda Graham should be happy with her newly inherited historic inn, a fat cat named Oscar, and living in a small Oregon beach town, but a terrible discovery between the dunes on the coast and she’s right back in the soup, trying to solve a murder and save her friend! Sure, maybe he was such a rotten person he deserved to die, but as secrets start to be revealed, Amanda is drawn deeper into danger and intrigue. With a harvest festival looming, and tourists starting to come back to visit, figuring out how and why he died is the best way to protect the town, and her sweet friend.
She’s turned her back on LA and life in a gray office cubicle, so her best bet is to dig in and fight for her new hometown.

MISTLETOE, MOONLIGHT, & MURDER (book 3)
ONE ... terrible mudslide TWO... feet sticking out of it THREE... carats of perfect diamonds
Amanda hadn't expected snow for Christmas on the Oregon Coast, but her first winter in Ravenwood Cove brings out long-dead secrets that someone is desperately trying to hide... no matter the cost. Hot chocolate, merry decorations, and purring cats give way to police investigations and a search for a ruthless killer.

SEA, SKY, & SKELETON (book 4)
Some long-dead secrets are best kept buried.
It was meant to be just a small remodeling project to Amanda's historic bed and breakfast, like so many she'd done before. This time, though, she hadn't counted that a mysterious discovery could lead to her small Oregon beach town buzzing with gossip and innuendo, and someone just in the shadows who will stop at almost nothing to keep the past as silent as the grave.

Come visit the sweet little town of Ravenwood Cove, where cozy cottages and quirky characters are tangled up in mystery and murder!

I've been writing and making stories in my head as early as I can remember. In third grade I came home, set my lunchbox down, and told my mother I wanted to be a writer. Luckily, Mom was supportive.

I've been a published author for a while now, under different names and genres, but the thought of writing about a small coastal town in Oregon, and about its loves and mysteries and holidays and people has been with me for years. To be honest, I am a bit scared to dump those ideas onto the written page, but hope you'll enjoy getting to meet the people who inhabit my imagination.

In real life, I'm married with kids, live on the West Coast of the US, and own a hobby farm just outside of my favorite small town. I love to travel, and can often be found strolling down a windy Oregon beach, holding onto the string of a high-sailing dragon kite.

I am totally in love with this series. I like seeing how Amanda is growing emotionally. I also enjoy the kooky town members and of course the love that abounds from character to character. Throw in a mystery and you have a relaxing read.

This was 4 books bundled, so it awhile to read 4 books. But, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey from first to last (well last of the 4 anyway) and will be getting more of this series soon. Just the right about of description to be able to “see” everything, but not so much as to be overwhelming. Mysteries abound (and there are full endings of each book...no cliffhangers), no graphic violence, romance but no sex, beautiful location, likable characters (except for the evil doers), recipes, AND a cat....what’s not to like? These COULD be free standing, but I would recommend reading in order or you will miss out on a lot of backstory. Enjoy!

I totally enjoyed reading this collection! I wish the town were real so I could go visit. The characters are interesting and relatable and the storylines are fun. I love a cozy mystery with a little love story and a fun recipe to try at the end! This would be great book club fun where you could bake some of the recipes for the meeting!!

I like novels, and especially series of novels, with interesting characters, vivid storytelling, and good grammar. These are the first I’ve read by Carolyn L. Dean but certainly not the last.

Thoroughly enjoyed these four books. The writing is good, the characters are likeable and fun and the storylines are interesting and twisty. Altogether a really good and entertaining read.
