    In my humble opinion if you can't wait to finish a book but are sad when it's done then you have a winner.

    I am not the type that when I review a book I tell you about the story or rehash the blurb you can read about it online. I try to convey my experience. The rest you can find for yourself easy enough. If someone tells me a book stuck with them for some reason then I'm more curious to see why. To read I myself. Not every book is for everyone I get that.

    You absolutely need to read book 1 first. That's the only way a lot of what happens in this one will make sense. I took a chance when I chose the first book but it was a great book. Book 2 is even better, again my opinion. You truly get to know these characters and root for and against them. It looks like this sets us up for another book and frankly I can't wait.

    This was the second installment of the story that began with The Unveiling. Anna now lives in Bridwich, a quiet place where she can hide, basically. There were multiple twists and turns and some supernatural elements included. The story had a mysterious beginning right from the start, and Book 1 is pretty essential in providing the framework for Book 2. One important point brought out is that everyone has secrets in their past, and not all secrets should see the light of day!

    This is a good paranormal thriller.

    This book did hold my interest throughout. The paranormal mixed with intense thriller moments. Everyone has secrets that they want hidden but once revealed, can they be the death of you? Gruesome deaths, betrayals and lies. Who can you trust? Are "they" truly helping you or are they deceiving you? Characters well developed, some you will love, some you will like and others you will despise. I did find the ending to be a bit of a cliffhanger, possibly leading into another book. Received an ARC and this is my honest voluntary review.
