    Love this wild ride with Mal and Scarlett! Her circumstances are sad but I can understand why she auctioned what she did. Malachy was so cruel in book one, with Aida, I didn’t think I would like him, but holy cow! I loved him! His connection with Scarlett is immediate.     I am in my mafia era…all I’ve been reading is Mafia romance back to back. I started with Cruel Obsession and quickly rushed into Savage Bidder. I love the enemies to lovers trope and the banter between the MMC and MFC. I like that I got to see Milo and Aida even if it was for a brief moment. I will say the use of “ Daddy” was so cringe. Daddy is not my favorite word used in romance books, and to be honest I usually will DNF a book for using “Daddy”, but putting this book down was not an option. I’m ready for Gia’s and Sicilian story.

She is scared to a degree but appears more curious as to who might win her as she looks over the men who are their to bid she catches the eye of Malachy.....He of course is the highest bidder, Malachy, head of the Irish Boston Mafia. This one decision throws her into the dark, criminal mafia world. The question now is will she survive? When will he let her go and How will she ever explain what she has done to her Mother... This is a good read but for me not as awesome as the first book... but does follow the pattern :)
