About the author

Carl Cota-Robles is from Portland, OR. He grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, writing stories about people and animals like talking mice, shapeshifting wizards, time travelers, and vampire thieves. His biggest inspiration was Eragon, but he also read and enjoyed Pendragon, Harry Potter, and other fantasy books. In 2014, he graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing. He's currently in the midst of writing his first fantasy series, the Dragon Destiny series.
