B. Truly's As the Secrets Turn is the third book in the My Darkest Secret series. I read the first book in this series so I appreciate getting to know what happened to Madison and Justin once they grew up. If you haven't read the other stories I would definitely recommend it because it is a fantastic series, but you can still read this book even if you haven't read the others. I am never disappointed with Truly's writing. She does a great job of developing believable compelling characters and setting up the stage for the story. There's enough backstory so that you can understand what's going on and Truly jumps right in with action and drama from the first page. I do recommend reading the first two books before starting with this one, it gives context and more meaning to the story. Even though it's possible, it will spoil the ending of a beautiful saga by just jumping until the end.

Now we find Madison and Justin with new dilemmas, but their love stays stronger than ever. Their marriage is coming soon, but it's not going to be as easy as they think it will be.

Overall, a great ending for a great saga, destined for people who enjoys a good romantic drama. I loved the writing, so poetic but a little bit cheesy sometimes. Definitely recommended!

This is the third book in the series called: My Darkest Secret, written by author B. Truly. Although this is part of a series, As The Secrets Turn can be read as a stand alone and the reader would perfectly understand the story.
I must be honest and confess that at first sight I didn’t like the cover of the book and didn’t feel like reading it, but when I read the description I was completely caught.
The book has a very interesting plot in which mystery and suspense are mixed with romance, making it a great reading! I would really recommend the book and I am now going to read the previous two books in the series. Author Truly has a very captivating narrative that makes the reader forget about the world around them and focus on the story.

This is the third and final book in the My Darkest Secret series. I was anxious to read this to see how things turned out for Madison and Justin. I was not disappointed. Madison and Justin must endure tribulation after tribulation, yet their love and loyalty for each other never wanes.
If anything is going to go wrong, it will go wrong for Madison. She takes it in stride. I like that she’s never bitter over her “strange luck”, as she calls it. (I call it beyond horrible luck.)
This time around, her luck seems to rub off on Justin, and even Madison’s grandma is affected. The story begins with their wedding and takes them through the first few years of their marriage. Difficulties and tragedies follow them wherever they go.
One of the first things Madison does when she arrives in Jamaica for her wedding ceremony is have her palm read by Lady Dalice. Being Madison, it’s not great news. But Lady Dalice gives her important information she will recall throughout the book. Every event Lady Dalice foretold comes to pass and causes Madison to reflect on the woman’s predictions.
One of the most surprising things for me was the gift that Madi’s daughter possesses. I won’t go into spoilers. You’ll have to read it for yourself. If you’ve followed this series from the beginning, you’ll want to see how things turn out for this couple you can’t help cheering for.
At the end, the author includes foreshadowing for one of my favorite characters, Dari. I hope this means her story is next!

I enjoyed the storyline and the adventures it embodied. The scenes were descriptive, and this added to the nature of things. I recommend this book to teen and young adult readers.

This third in the series can easily be read alone - I haven't read the earlier two. I recommend it for older readers as there's some racy content, but it's great fun and unputdownable once you get into it! Fantastic.
