    It was a fast paced story. I’m not sure what I was expecting, after her dream she had, but it wasn’t that. I had forgotten what the book was called, otherwise I may have been less surprised. I mean she does have some shifter blood in her. But I have to say Ms. Black you do write one hell of an ending, and I’m only on book one.

But before she woke up she remembered mark her to be selected. What she finds out is that a dream walker came to her with someone else and selected her for the hunt. Its known that humans are sometimes selected for yhe hunt by the Fae. But do thet return? Its rumored they die? Pasiley’s best friend notices the mark immediately and asks her about it.

    I would rank this higher but, i got confused by the so many different character names being introduced. Is she not fated to be the queen to the 1st male in her dream? Or is she hunted by him and passed along until she is caught by him?

    This wasn't original at all. The main female lead loves coffee and wearing leather and is "spunky" and there is something special about her but no knows what. It falls very flat and cringy. There is nothing special in this book. It is single POV reverse harem. It is dub-con and there is no actual romance which would be fine if the plot/world building was good OR if the author decided to make it erotica. Neither happened though so we're left with whatever this is.

    I wasn’t entirely sure with these books to begin with there is definitely some VERY grey areas consent wise but the 🌶️🌶️ was off the charts. I read the whole series and loved the character development and the MCs flawed but ultimately strong resilient personality. Loved the world building and character development. I do think some of the relationships could of been built a bit more solidly before diving in but loved the fast pace of the series as well. Still saved in my library for a reread soon.
