Craig A. Hart is a writer of thrillers and award-winning producer of audio dramas. In a past life, he was also director for Northern Illinois Radio Information Service, a broadcast outreach that brought daily news and information to the visually impaired.

In 2015, Kindle Press published his literary novel BECOMING MOON. NPR affiliate Northern Public Radio featured BECOMING MOON in their Winter Book Series, and it won Best Novel of Summer 2015 from Pinnacle Awards. He is also the author of the historical mystery NIGHT AT KEY WEST, which is based on true events.

In 2016, he publishing SERENITY, the first book in the popular Shelby Alexander Thriller Series. Serenity alone has been downloaded by over 600,000 eager readers. There are currently ten books in that series.

In 2022, he launched the Maxwell Barnes Adventure Thriller Series. The award-winning first book in that series, MAYAN SHADOWS, was published on May 11, 2022. Three more books follow in that series: MAYAN THUNDER, MAYAN TEMPEST, and TIBETAN SECRETS. The fifth book, TIBETAN GAMBIT, is scheduled to release in Summer 2024.

With his friend Mack they set out to right a terrible wrong. Humorous dialogue abounds but the serious nature of the case isn’t made light and cooperating with the new sheriff the hunt is on.

    I'm convinced Selby's a Gemini, but unfortunately he's track record with women is sketchy, much like some of my other favourite mystery and action series.

    Like it or not, people who read, they know stuff, thus they can usually get in front of the curve, but you need all the details for that to happen.

    Once again Serenity fails to live up to its name... As his daughter and his current live-in lover try to encourage him to slow down, a kidnapping occurs and Shelby, along with his friend Mack, is called in to help the investigation...

    Grudgingly Shelby knows he's slowing down - but also that he isn't the retiring type.

    A fine story - and there's a masterful piece of misdirection over the identity of the kidnapper!

    A perfectly fine stand-alone novel but new readers will find it more satisfying to start at the beginning of the series. I enjoy the author's style - and while I actually received a free ARC I have purchased this copy to show my appreciation.
