Having a real connection to the story and characters
Daniel Lyons take on a futuristic COVID-19 world allows your mind to escape to a place where you really connect with the characters. The intertwined story gives the reader multiple view points without muddying the main concept of the book. If you went through any shelter in place during the pandemic, (who didn’t?) this book is for you! I found myself reflecting a lot about how I felt during the pandemic and it allowed me to add a little closure to that period of time.
