    What an incredible read - I was not sure whether I would like this, I am not really into thrillers etc but I have to say I was hooked almost immediately. The twists and turns are so well researched and I really enjoyed reading about the different locations, medical information and the outcome - my word. I highly recommend this book, unusual and different on so many levels.

    This thriller engages with ease and the pages fly by. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to pan out and the end caught me by surprise. I would have liked the story to evolve at a more leisurely pace, with more location and character description purely so I could savour it more. It was a quick read and I wanted more. So, I look forward to the author's third novel.

    This is fast paced and there is a believable story but there are faults. The writing is clumsy and predictable, full of clichés and the characters come with a degree of predictability.
    Plus the author should get his facts right and know the date of the fall of Singapore.

    Having read the author's previous novel, I had high expectations of this one, and I wasn't disappointed. There's clearly been a lot of research behind this fascinating story of abduction and more, and it makes for a convincing chain of events. The most unputdownable book I've read this year - thoroughly recommended.
