Five Amazing Stars I was so absolutely thrilled to start another wonderful first book from another exciting series,Studs in Spurs. Another amazing romantic County meets the City book. I so thoroughly enjoyed. When top romance writer, Jenna Block who has sadly been told By her head agent that her books have been a complete flop. Jenna's book have to be much more sexual and tells her maybe she should try out the idea of including County. I so thoroughly adored this wonderful sexual tale.I absolutely adored this deliciously romance too. I was so excited to read more of this wonderful series too!! * I recommend this book to everyone!!

    I just love everything that Cat Johnson writes, so at sometime in my Kindle life, I added Unridden to my collection. This weekend, I opened it up and started reading. I didn't happen to notice until later that the full title read, Unridden: A Cowboy Menage Romance (Studs In Spurs). A Menage! A what? Ohhhh my! I was laughing out loud at the author, Jenna, and her lack of knowledge and terminology of the rodeo circuit! Now I'm not an expert, but her questions were hysterical as well as innocent! I took a real lovin' to best friends Slade and Mustang! And Mustang's terms of endearment! An old lady like me could still swoon! I took a liking to Chase too! What a fun, eye popping story! This story wet my appetite for more of the series!

    So, the good first. The dialogue is sweetly funny when Jenna first meets Slade and Mustang. I learned a lot more about bull riding than I ever planned on knowing. The research must have been very thorough. Chase was adorable.
    The bad. Reading about threesomes with strangers doesn't get me excited. It's just sad. The first pages were cringe-inducing. "Just the tip?" Ugh no. Other than Chase, side characters were flat, one-dimensionsl, and irritating. Why is she friends with Astrid if she doesn't like her? Finally, there was a racial/ethnic slur against the Roma, saying that Gypsy taxi drivers were cheats and conmen. That's unacceptable.

Reason for the 4 star is cause Jenna Rubbed me wrong how she is suppose to be this 35 yr old but was oblivious to fact that she showed up at the bull riding championships with 21 year old Chase & didn’t think anything of it. Especially when she was sitting in those seats night before for two other men. Idk just rubbed me wrong. Also the sex scene rubbed me wrong. They were suppose to have shared woman previously & all sudden Slade was getting weirded out by his junk touching mustangs. It was a good read though.

    Unridden #1 in the Studs and Spurs series by Cat Johnson. This is the second time I have read this book; in fact, I am spending the summer re-reading some great series I’ve had on my kindle. Unridden is the story of Slade Bower and Mustang Jackson aka Michael Jackson. These two have a reputation with the ladies both on their own and as a group. While romancing the ladies these two are busy riding bulls on the professional circuit.
    Jenna Block is from New York and she writes romance. When she finds out her next book is a flop it gets recommended she think about writing a western novel, it seems to be in demand. Jenna feels like it would be easy enough so for her birthday she heads to a bull riding event and meets Slade and Mustang. These two guys have one thing on their mind and yet when they end up where they wanted Slade starts having some different feelings. Jenna is throwing caution to the wind and enjoying her research for her book, but she notices she has some strong feelings for a certain cowboy. The content in this book is not part of what I normally read, but the plot was really good and couldn’t help but love the characters!!

    Ok story first book by this author story was good but not what I like to read. I read the high reviews that everyone else put before I ordered this book and thought it would've been a good book. Firstly I like books when it's written by POV has some Angst or drama and this book had none but as I mentioned above story was ok but couldn't have more emotion and there was no connection with characters. Story finished with wanting to know what will happen with Jenna and Sade's relationship definitelyI won't be reading any more books to find out if story is told by author and not POV.
