    D’Aakh was a huge grump in everyone else’s books so I assumed he would be in this one as well. But his backstory made it make so much more sense. His way of coping did as well. So heartbreaking to see his inner thoughts and how he saw himself. I was grateful for his growth and by the halfway point I wasn’t furious with him anymore. Just rooting for him and his happiness. He truly deserved it after all he has been through.

    Lucia was the perfect match for him. I love grumpy x grumpy but especially when the FMC gives it back just as hard. I also loved that she was strong. Like physically strong. Women with muscles need love too and if it can’t be me giving it to them it should be the equally muscular alien know it all with a cock that he can fully control the muscles in. 😮‍💨

    I will say I wish we had gotten more reassurance for him from the crew. I hate that he felt like they wouldn’t be sad if he wasn’t around. I also wish we had more spice because his special cock? Wow. I’d never leave bed. But they were a perfect pair and as I always do with Anna’s books, I gobbled it right up. I love her writing so much.

    There is insta lust/love then there is this book! Whew grumpy ace D'Aakh and confident Lucia were quick with their from h@te to love...or at least h@te to h*rny! MMC D'Aakh has been through some shizz and is self medicating to his own detriment. I do wish we had gone a little more into his history and reason behind this. Lucia is a boss babe mechanic living the working girl dream on a far off space station. They collide both verbally and physically. Throw in meeting the Cricket fam living in spaceship walls and this was a hectic fast paced entry into this space crew.

    I really appreciate that though the ending was for sure an HEA it was also a little bittersweet in that D'Aakh did not get off magically scot-free from his choices. Look forward to the next book and also for the Captains!

    Spicy, male female, dual point of view, enemies to lovers, alien romance. I went in doubtful because the male main character had recently lost his lover and was being an idiot. I usually hate a story where the female main character helps the mmc "save" himself, but the author won me over. Very entertaining, some mystery and action, and great chemistrt and spice. I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next book!

    Omg this book was amazing! I was super excited to finally get D'Aakh's story. I love a sexy brooding MMC and Anna Slobodan delivered! The push and pull between the MCs had me hooked until the very end. Can't wait for the next book!

    D'Aakh is the gumpy tech who is fighting the universe to keep the Supernova afloat; he's responsible for ensuring the crew is safe. He feels a new threat when the captain enlists a stranger to help with critical repairs. Can D'Akh trust this strange human girl with his beloved spacecraft; can he open his heart and share secrets that put them all in danger? Adventure and spice is the order of the day with the Supernova Cassanova crew. A quick and fun read.

    This was such a sweet novel! I will be ready the other books in the series as well.

    If you are looking for a strong and snarky FMC and a MMC who learns to love again, then this is the book for you! The plot is so well put together as well. I loved the side characters as well!

    Enemies to lovers vibes. Second chance love. Alien romance. Interspecies. Short and sweet.
