Creation: A Progression Fantasy (Surgecaller Book 9) Kindle Edition
But in the world of Temtoria, time moves at a different rate, and those days are turned into months.
Though Huon has managed to defeat a High Celestial, he still isn't ready to face the Everlasting King. But he has a plan. Reunited with people from his past, he has to teach them all he knows—whether he wants to or not—as when the time comes, they'll only have one chance to defeat their enemy.
This is the final book in the Surgecaller series.

About the author

Todd Herzman writes fantasy, science fiction, and anything else that catches his fancy. He has a Bachelor of Writing degree from the University of Canberra which hangs above his desk to--in theory--give him confidence when he writes. It's yet to work because usually his writing only gets done at coffee shops on his lunch break.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2024I chew through this series in less than 2 weeks and enjoyed the vast majority of it. Sometimes it’s hard for me (in my 30’s) to enjoy the “coming of age” tales, but this one has a purity to it I enjoyed.
Herzman put together a fun story and built on it through all the books. Would have liked to see him take it further, but I can appreciate ending on a strong note, with the base story fleshed out. All MCs motivations were satisfied, and taking it further would essentially be a whole new series.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this author. If you’re reading this wondering whether or not to pick up the series, do it.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2024If you've gotten this far, you'll want to finish. It's sad, happy, and everything in between. Don't miss it. You'll be glad.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2024Every letter, word, sentence and beyond was a prelude to wanting to know what came next. I only wish there were more in the series to read !!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2024I really enjoyed this book, and the series as a whole. I read this last book in just under 24 hours! The pacing was great, the anticipation/tension was great, and Huon got REALLY strong! I loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2024Very good and satisfying ending. While the story is over it seems like there is room to continue the character’s story going forward. I would be interested to see where it leads
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2023This was very short, it definitely could've been another hundred pages just to tie things up in a better way, but it was still good. I enjoyed it. I picked this series up on a whim back when he first released book one, and I had a good time with it.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2023I rarely leave reviews. I read this whole series in a few days then waited a few months to come out. I've submitted a few grammatical and spelling errors through my kindle. Story wise it was okay, but it was very typical.
MC Hid in other world to raise up others, MC and others find the cores, mc and others defeat king only after others die, and MC gets overly powered after self doubt, MC lives happily ever after.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2024Really loved the different take on magic/abilities. Great story building and world building. I would love to see another series continuing the story in the future.
