Jack Gatland writes great thrillers. Just finished the second Tom Marlowe Spy Thriller, and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Great character development, both major and minor. Nice flaws all around. Great plots. Looking forward to starting the next one.

I enjoy the intelligence game, but IF you are going to play, you must have a 'certain skill set', which young Marlow seems to have an abundance of.
Enjoying this series, my only regret is there appear to only be three books. Get to writing Mr. Gatland!

The cliches come in tidal waves; the plot is pure nonsense, the characters juvenile. I got through about 20% before giving up.
You may have a stronger stomach. Good luck.

I couldn't put it down because I kept wondering what Marlowe would get to next. I thought the ending could have been a bit tighter but developing Marlowe's character into a separate book series is definitely a good call!

    Can't wait for more.

This is the second book in the Marlowe series. I enjoyed the first book, but probably enjoyed this one more. Similar to the first, this is filled with action and is a page turner. Marlowe out in the cold is asked by CIA agent to help him protect a lawyer due to go to court with evidence against an influential owner of a major corporation in the US. She has evidence that will bring him and his corporation down and they are killing witnesses to stop the truth coming out. Who can Marlowe trust? A 5 out of 5 from me and I’ll be downloading book 3.

Lots of action and a fast paced story. Again, the author runs a storyline that could possibly have some real life similarities, but perhaps not. I’ll let you be the judge when you read this book. Enjoy.

Character easy to buy into but would like a bit more background as the series progresses
However I have every reason to believe I will end up reading whole series
