The Christmas Nativity Kindle Edition
Amos Graber returns to his Amish community after a year away, determined to atone for his past mistakes and reclaim his place among his people. However, old wounds run deep, and many are unwilling to forgive the rift he once caused.
Linda Bontrager, eager to honor her late mother’s legacy, takes on the daunting task of organizing the Christmas Market. But as the burden mounts, she begins to doubt her abilities, struggling to balance tradition with her own hopes.
When Amos’s and Linda’s paths cross, an unexpected bond forms between them—one filled with both tension and possibility. As they face their respective challenges, they must decide whether they can help each other heal or if the weight of their community’s judgement will drive them apart. Can Christmas bring them the redemption and courage they both need to forge a new beginning?

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI love reading this and it help to understand that no matter what we face in life, God is always there to help us.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis story is about Amos who had return to his community and is now seeking their acceptance.
There is much distrust within the community about him. He is now a wood crafter and wants to donate a Christmas Nativity that he is making to the Christmas Market.
Will he succeed and be accepted back?
- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2024Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThe book is well written. The characters believeable. The storyline is fine. I love to read and I love to crochet. With mild arthritis in my hands and wrists I can only crochet so long before my hands and wrists hurt or my fingers start to cramp. To rest my hands from making stitches I grab my latest book to read while “ resting” the hands. Although I did enjoy this book it was so short that I could not return to my crochet project; my hands did not get a long enough break to allow me to puck up my hook and crochet again
Technically there are enough pages to qualify as a novella, but didn’t count the words per page to doublecheck that. This book seems like more of a short story to me. I was disappointed to be honest and have decided to stop following this author. I would much rather pay more and have a full novel to read in stages. With this book I was able to read it in one sitting. If you don’t like to read much this length of book might please you, but I felt let down
