As a long time fan of Duckie, I was sooo excited to read her new book. And she didn’t disappoint. Circus and hot men with tats? Yum! We have Drake, the daredevil of the Black Cat Circus, and Eli, a journalist who was tasked with covering the circus. They’re the complete opposite of each other and yet they fit together so perfectly! Both the characters carries a bit of hurt, and I love the way that Duckie brings them to heal together. Duckie does a great job of creating a world full of magic but realistic at the same time. I got so absorbed in the book that I wish I could visit this circus too! I’m super exciting to read about the other characters in the series!
