- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2024Brilliantly and boldly written, this book explores our two primary modes of operating: the head and the heart, asserting how much powerful we are when we follow our heart space.
While this might sound rather “woohoo,” Christine explains the differences between navigating from a head or heart space with a blend of scientific research, historical reference, and real life experiences. I found myself nodding and “aha-ing” along wiki each page of this transformational read.
This book is inspiring, calling us to go deeper, in integrated reflection. Its lessons will unfold from now and many years to come.

It feels casual, but it’s obvious that plenty of research and real-world application supports the author’s work. The book is well-organized and flows well. As a dedicated non-fiction reader, I especially appreciate that endnotes were included…so professional!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2024In this insightful read, the author gently guides readers like a benevolent angel, illuminating the ideal path strewn with advice for successfully navigating a career transition.
Drawing from personal experience, the author steers readers away from pitfalls, offering a beacon of light amidst uncertainty.
The content and writing style are tailored for a primarily female or emotionally sensitive audience, rather than those seeking a rigid, procedural approach devoid of introspection.
Highlighted themes include:
«We miss much more when we believe the only way to see is through the eyes and the only way to understand is through our intellect.»
«This subtle deception created by the brain—mainly for survival and efficiency—raises a fundamental question:
How much of what we think we encounter in the present is actually a projection of the past?»
«When we expand our observation to include not only our thoughts and opinions but also our inner states and feelings, our whole perception of reality changes, resulting in different actions, feelings, and interventions. » (RIA BAECK)

5.0 out of 5 stars Experience Your Heart Space Through This Beautiful Book, Including Wonderful Reflection Exercises
What I love about Christine's wonderful book is that she clearly explains how "our own thinking" has separated mind from body, and she employs really interesting historical facts, stories, and quotes. Really compelling. She then, in clear and interesting language, explains how we now experience "disconnection from aliveness" due to our dependence on thinking at the expense of being. In her section called "The Heart Space" she engages through stories and ideas that convey "being in the heart space" as a practice, and I felt her heart and the connected feeling that comes through her reflection exercises. The experience of deep listening, a focus on breathing, and surrendering to the moment will help you access the Heart Space, and Christine is a beautiful guide.
