- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2025If you’re an entrepreneur looking for a clear, real-life, actionable roadmap to scale your business, The Launch Code is a must-read!
Zoltan Vardy breaks down complex business strategies into a step-by-step, easy-to-execute system that makes scaling a business feel achievable. He has a no-nonsense, cut-the-BS approach that gets straight to the point—no fluff, just practical, real-world advice that works. His ability to simplify what seems complex—regardless of the industry you’re in—and his “better done than perfect” mindset make this book stand out from generic startup guides.
After applying the principles in The Launch Code, I was able to redefine my company’s sales strategy. Instead of trying to position multiple services at the same time—splitting attention and achieving inconsistent year-on-year results—I learned to focus on a single “tip of the spear” that effectively penetrates my target audience’s defenses.
While the book is packed with valuable insights and case studies from diverse industries, I would have loved the opportunity to join a community of Zoltan’s alumni—both successful entrepreneurs and those who struggled with change—to exchange ideas and experiences.
If you’re serious about scaling your startup efficiently and appreciate direct, no-BS advice, this book is a game-changer. Highly recommended for entrepreneurs at any stage!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2025I love this book. In fact, I've already read it twice. It's well written, well organized, filled with real world examples -- and loaded with actionable advice.
I've bought all of the usual books on entrepreneurship. But, The Launch Code is the one that's been missing. It demystifies sales and lays out a clear step-by-step process for getting things right. It also makes a compelling case for why founders need to understand sales if they want to really scale their business.
If you're thinking about building a product or starting a company, read this book first. It gives you a blueprint that will save you a lot of time and perhaps pain. And, if you've already jumped in, trust me, you're going to love this book -- and likely will read it twice as I have.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2025As an engineer-entrepreneur, I have often struggled in building an effective sales team. In The Launch Code, Zoltan uses a combination of real world examples and instruction to really dig into the art and science behind building the DNA of sales into a company.
I typically shy away from business books, however, The Launch Code uses interesting and relatable stories to keep you engaged. It’s an easy read that makes you frequently sit back and go “Oh, I need to be doing more of that!”.
Highly recommended for any entrepreneur.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2025The Launch Code is a must read for anyone trying to build a revenue stream attached to their business. It’s particularly useful for entrepreneurs but can also be applied to mature businesses. There are timeless lessons in here for young and old. Zoltan does a great job making things straight-forward and interesting.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025Finally! With masses of books/articles/podcasts focused on telling new entrepreneurs that 'the secret' is to wake up at 04:30 like a Navy SEAL, sleep on the floor like Elon Musk or some other such nonsense, the 'Launch Code' is breath of hugely useful fresh air.
Yes, your new idea or widget is cool, but too many have bought into the convenient, lazy untruth that it will sell itself, even if it is better. It wasn't true for Tucker in the 1940's, or Apple in the 1990's and it isn't true for you today.
This book will walk you through the insightful world of sales in a hands-on way that's useful for everyone. I also appreciate the structure of the writing, with useful real-world examples, direct advice and just enough repetition of the key messages to be useful without being boring. No yoga-babble, and no cutting corners. Just impactful advice, thoughts and examples. I certainly recommend the 'Launch Code' to those in the planning stages of their new venture, as well as those already in the midst of their entrepreneurial adventure.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025Mr. Vardy has captured key insights so needed by fledgling entrepreneurs, and those endeavoring to scale their businesses. The effort is often daunting, lonely, and stressful, but most would never have it any other way - for their challenge is to create something bigger than themselves with a true appetite to change the world - even if ever so slightly. The greatest entrepreneurs are never in it solely the money, (often considered just a progress report card), but are using pure will, and internal fortitude, to prove their visions and goals have merit and will be transformational. Mr. Vardy, in this book, cracks the code the highlights these unique required traits in order to "launch".
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025I was eager to read this book after hearing firsthand praise from a husband-and-wife founder duo who took the Launch Code course and found it invaluable. The book is built on a refreshingly humble premise: sales is a learned skill, not an innate talent. Packed with a comprehensive framework and practical guidance, it not only teaches how to sell but also how to learn to sell—often the bigger challenge.
For tech-driven entrepreneurs who deeply understand their product but struggle with sales confidence, this book is an essential, no-nonsense guide. Its methodology builds self-belief step by step, making it as much a confidence booster as a sales playbook. No fluff, just highly actionable advice—well worth the read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Start up support for tech companies - very enjoyable read
I really liked the quality of the book; I thought it was simple in the beginning and the more I read, the more (I think) I understood what the author tried to do, i.e. to write a guide for tech startups that starts off simple enough to capture the reader and then gradually to build in complexity, all while maintaining a clear and straightforward structure.
Well done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical, Adaptable, Essential: Reviewing The Launch Code
Zoltan Vardy’s book, The Launch Code, is packed with practical insights that extend far beyond tech or product startups. 🚀 Even if you're an advisor providing services or perhaps an investor marketing your capital, the clear strategies and actionable frameworks offered in this book can genuinely enhance your sales approach. Because, let's face it, we all have to sell as we progress in any job or career... 📈
What stood out most to me was the ease of adapting Zoltan's methods to my own context—I immediately saw opportunities to refine how I present relevant services and investment opportunities. 💡 It's rare to find a business book that combines depth, practicality, and adaptability so effectively.
