    I loved Aria and Rex from the very beginning and I’m so glad this didn’t have a 3rd act breakup. I would love to read about the other characters especially Rex’s twin brother

    This was a really fun (re)read! With the updated version, it still felt like reminiscing the original story, yet feeling like it was somewhat new as well. I’ll be using some parts of my previous review with updates.

    Rex is a lead singer in the rock band As Above and just wants to be normal and not be mauled by the masses every time he steps outside.

    Aria is a widower who has spent the last few years trying to make something of herself but hesitant about moving forward. After a huge loss, she’s spent years trying to find herself again.

    Little do either of them know that a blind shoot would turn out to be the one thing they both needed. It’s insta-steam and they are ready to go at it! Though I’m not always a fan of insta-love, it worked here. Both were ready to begin something new and different. It was hot and spicy and Rex was definitely hooked minute one and fell hard and fast! I mean, who doesn’t love a tatted man & pierced member!

    Rex loved how Aria didn’t know anything about his profession and saw him for just Rex, though keeping her in the dark leads to some crazy adventures when the paparazzi are on the hunt! This event leads Rex to question whether or not he wants to put Aria into his world. His need to protect her at all costs has him warring with himself. Beware of a close third act breakup, though thankfully is short lived.

    The cameos from the other band members and security guards are great and seeing their personalities come out. I was laughing so hard at Rex and Mac’s twin terminology and name calling!! It’s like back to kindergarten with boys but it’s hilarious! I also loved the sweet moments and Macaroni is calling to my heart right now! I can’t wait for his book to get the scoop on a certain person.

    Rex uses the endearment “babe” a lot, though this time around it didn’t bother me as much and I enjoyed how it melted her when he said it. Aria has the mouth of a sailor we don’t always see from a FMC and sometimes caught me off guard when she flies off, but she doesn’t take anyone’s $hit!

    Overall, I did enjoy this read and would recommend it to others who want a not so typical rockstar romance! It’s found family, touch her and unalive, all the spice, insta-love, fast paced HEA, that’ll have you wanting more!

    This story started out confusing but then very intriguing. I love the strangers photo shoot trope. However there were aspects that seemed to drag on the story and I honestly wasn’t a fan. I’m sure it’s a 5 star for others but for me it wasn’t my favorite.

    A Rockstar Romance

    Make sure you get the one with this particular cover as it’s the most recent release.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

    The feelings were different this time. They were more intense throughout. By that I mean the emotions that radiated off of the characters were deeper and just more…..of everything. The scenes are fluent and mesh well together. The desire that Rex has to feel like “a normal man” and be him and not “stage him” to others explodes off the pages. I could feel his desperation to grip onto Aria because she was an enigma of a woman. She unknowingly provides him an inner peace and grounds him. She helps to alleviate the view the public places upon him. On the flip side, he offers her the same. They are incredible characters on their own but Holy Cow, as a couple they are spectacular. Now let’s add Rex’s love and commitment to his twin. Let’s move on to Mac, shall we? This man has held my attention captive for so long. He needs a book. I need him to have a book. When he falls apart, slides down the wall and sobs I nearly sobbed with him. Love is love! He loves one that is not in his path or on his horizon. The banter between him and his twin, Rex, is upwards of hysterical but also provided are such tender moments between them. There is absolutely nothing about this book that I don’t love.

    1.5 days. That’s all it took for me to devour this story. If I didn’t have to work, I would have read it in one sitting! I couldn’t put it down.

    The immediate connection between Aria and Rex drags a reader into the thick of it right along with them. It’s impossible not to fall in love with their story. It burns fast and hot, but love is like that sometimes.

    Rex is flawed, makes the wrong choices, says the wrong things, but his love for Aria is obvious and always at the root of his willingness to grow with her. He’s easy to fall for, as a reader. Just enough roughness around his edges, but a soft marshmallow inside when it comes to the people he loves.

    Aria isn’t perfect either, which makes her so relatable, but it is heartwarming that Rex sees her “faults” as perfection. Isn’t that what we all want in a partner? Someone to see our flaws and faults and love us anyway? The relationship she builds with Rex is hot (spicy, spicy hot), but sweet and the bond forged with Mac is so tender, I would be surprised if you don’t have a soft spot for him, too.

    The characters are so well written, I truly love them all and want to dive deeper into each of their stories. What makes them who they are? How does this “family” face tragedy together? And how do they celebrate the wins?

    Wrapped in a heartwarming HEA, the fast-burning romance is punctuated with challenges and trauma. The rush that comes with falling in love, not only with someone who truly sees you, but with yourself and your own potential, is nicely woven into The Moment.
