I’m Prince Maximillian Rochartè of Bellèno. The tabloids claim I'm alpha, arrogant, but the reality is I make royal dilemmas disappear.

The monarchy borrowed millions, loans are due, and an old-fashioned marriage of convenience might save us all. A billionaire noble will fork over a fortune in exchange for marrying his daughter Cici to my brother, playboy Prince Leo. Cici's on board with my plan but she's in the States and needs a little time to clear up loose ends. But I'm running out of time.

I spot Vivian at a dive biker bar in Chicago. She's a pretty waitress -- could be Cici's twin. She pours a pitcher of margaritas on some entitled guy's head and is fired. I hire her to impersonate Cici for a few weeks. Vivian's feisty, funny and our chemistry's off the charts.     Modern day fairy tale of Cinderella combines with classic My Fair Lady, in this enchanting story with a clever storyline, likeable characters, fun dialogue, humor, passion and romance. There are actually two books in this one selection, His Sexy Cinderella is the prologue and The Prince's Playbook is book one in this enjoyable, addictive series.
    I do have a question about the guy on the book cover. He's a handsome, black haired man, yet in the story Max is described as a gorgeous ginger prince. Shouldn't these images match???

    Wow! What a crazy book! Vivian, a cocktail waitress at a biker bar in Chicago, found herself in need of a new job after dumping a pitcher of margaritas on a customer’s head. Thankfully Max, Prince of Belleno was there to witness all of it and had a part-time job offer for her. It what a crazy job it ended up being!
    As with all crazy plans, there were complications...forbidden feelings, lies, betrayal, way too many secrets and some huge unforeseen changes to the plan. But Vivian also made some new friendships and got a sweet gift, even if things didn’t work out as planned.
    Great idea for the story. But highly unrealistic! Seriously, who’s own father and best friends wouldn’t recognize them?!? And all her stupid questions that someone from Belleno would have already known... the book was entertaining though.

But I thought this was a stand-alone book and the next book was about Leo, but then I realised the whole series are about the Vivian and Max. A part of me wants to read the rest of the story, but I just don’t think it’s good enough to spend the money or the time on three more books.

I enjoyed the Love triangle that is going on and I adored Max- he has a lot on his plate but he is making it work. He is in love with a woman who is with the wrong brother. Vivian is a wonderful woman who happens to be a stand in for CiCi..I wonder what will happen on that front between her and CiCi. This story has so many twists and turns. I am looking forward to the next installment to find out who wins the fair maiden’s hand-- Max and Viv ‘s story will stick with me for a while and one can hope…

    Max is the spare heir to the Belléno throne. The country is over extended financially, and Max can find no way out but a marriage of convenience to a landed family with money who would like to be a princess. Lady Cici is willing to be that woman, and her father's deep pockets will rescue Belléno. The only catch? She wants to marry Leo, the crown prince. She also needs a few weeks to tie up loose ends. Max goes to America to find a look alike for Cici to stand in for her until she is home for the wedding.

    Vivian is smart, funny, sharp-witted with a razor tongue. She is a waitress at the biker bar when Max finds her and she just got fired and needs cash now to keep her Uncle in his assisted living home. She signs non disclosure contracts, gets a rush training in etiquette and Cici's friends and family and is swept to Belléno.

    Chaos reigns, Vivian handles most of it with grace and poise. The tricky part is that Vivian and Max are falling in love. How will they work it all out?

    Which is fine!
    Occasional typos bothered me, but they were rare.
    The writing style didn't win me over. Build up, build up then gently crest over.
    Apparently the second book is a continuation of this story. I am happy I'd didn't end on a cliffhanger!
    It is unlikely that I will continue this series but ya never know.

This story has it all loss heartache struggles upset love triangle. It ends with happy ever ending or does it. This is a must read excellent story with more to come for max and his soon to be bride Vivian.

Außerdem kam mir die Zeitspanne von Viviane in Bellèno nicht so ganz richtig vor.
    Ob ich das nächste Buch der Reihe lesen werde, weiß ich noch nicht. Eig hat mir dieses ihr ganz gut gefallen, aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich mehr über Leo lesen möchte.
