The Ringmaster: An Enemies-to-lovers, Fated Mates, MM Romance (Black Cat Circus Book 1) Kindle Edition
The last thing half-fae, half-demon Ringmaster Seven needs is to hold someone captive in his bedroom, no matter how attractive he finds the young man. It’s been ten years since Seven fled the fae courts and found sanctuary in the human realm. He will do anything to protect his circus and found family. So, when Seven wakes up to find a beautiful yet feral creature straddling him and reeking of faerie magic, his only option is to bind the little minx and deal with him later.
Time is running out for Indy. It’s been almost ten years since Indy was cursed. His only hope of breaking the magic is to find his fated mate or lose his human form forever. Seeing no other choice, Indy travels with a magical circus of paranormal creatures. Only, when Indy momentarily gets his human form back, he’s more concerned about getting revenge on the Ringmaster rather than finding love.
Can Sev help Indy break this curse before it’s too late, or will he die trying?
The Ringmaster is an enemies-to-lovers, fated mates, paranormal MM romance. It is part of the Black Cat Circus multi-author series that features found family and a magical cast of characters. Each book can be read as a standalone but is better enjoyed as a series.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2024Finding your fated mate may be just a good start. Enjoy how Indy and Seven handle the challenges, the surprising revelations, the magic, and all the steamy moments to become bonded mates!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 20233.5 stars. The finale of the Black Cat Circus series…so far? I could see some more books coming out of this universe. Which could be pretty exciting. When we first met Peanut in Daredevil, I was convinced he was Seven lol. I was very happy they were fated mates. I enjoyed reading of when Peanut was in cat mode and loved when he we got his point of view as Indy in human mode. And how sometimes they’d mesh together in one form or the other. Seven’s story was very interesting. I was a bit disappointed that in this book and the Aerialist, Seven lost some of his regality that were in the first two books. He just didn’t seem as….connected to the magic of the circus I guess. I don’t know, but I missed it. There were many things I thought would’ve been better to read as it was happening that would be glossed over and then lightly detailed about later. Otherwise, I loved all the magic, there was way more paranormalness, I enjoyed the goblin market and it was a great potential finale. Seven and Indy we’re perfect fated mates.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2024Seven and Peanut are my favorites. Poor Indy, stuck as a cat for 10 years. Seven, even with his found family, is just so lonely. They needed their HEA!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2024This was an adorable little read. I would have loved to know more about the curse, but in the end, it didn't matter too much because these two were just perfect for each other.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2023The made family in the paranormal Black Cat Circus has grown since many have found their fated mates. Many, but not all, and it hurts them to see the lonely man who brought them all together be so sad personally. Oh the Ringmaster, Seven, puts on a good front, but those who know him well know how desperately he wishes to find his mate, if they even exist.
Banned from Faerie by his father, the King, Seven has always been an outsider. He’s only a half Fae, his mother was a demon. So despised by his father, he was only given a number for his name, the order of his birth. Eventually his father placed a curse on him and Seven isn’t even allowed to enter Faerie.
In the outside world, Seven determines to never let any lost, banished, forgotten soul suffer alone again, whether human or supernatural. If they need a home and family, Black Cat Circus will take them into their fold.
The circus was named by a child for a cat that has traveled with the circus for ten years. Seven is apparently the only one who has never actually seen the cat. The cat, Peanut, seems to play a role in all of the couples who have met their mates. Some even think Peanut might be some sort of paranormal himself. He does seem to appear and disappear randomly.
The day Seven does accidentally encounter Peanut, begins a string of events that quite tidily tie up many of the mysteries readers have encountered along our travels with Black Cat Circus, including leading Seven to his mate. Magical as always, we’re drawn into the world of faeries, dragons, demons, shifters, goblins and orcs.
We also see the parallels between human worlds and supernatural worlds where bigotry, prejudice, hate, jealousy, and greed coexist and cause the same damage.
I have loved everything about this series! The authors outdid themselves with their creativity, attention to detail, and the cohesiveness of these stories. Each book flows seamlessly into the next. Every couple have different circumstances of their meeting but the bond of the made family in Black Cat Circus stays true and completes one incredible fairytale.
I appreciate how each story tackles an underlying real life issue under the cover of a fairytale. Isn’t that how we’ve learned many lessons over the centuries?
The Black Cat Circus series is a masterpiece by four very talented authors and a true pleasure to experience.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2023I had hoped this book would have been the explosion to the series giving it a bang but I didn’t feel that when I read this book. The storyline was good but certain elements weren’t to my liking and the sex scenes weren’t strong enough to be effective to my tastes or stand up to the other 3 books in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2023This book is so good! I was so happy to learn about peanut and the history of the black cat circus. I loved how everything came together and many things were answered. I can honestly say I would love to have more stories. Possibly about the "brothers", security, and the goblin market and definitely about the kitsune(maybe with river and his BFF?)!
I loved seven and indys communication once they finally got to that point. I definitely would of loved more spice but I also understand why it was more plot to me. The whole series really is amazing!!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2024Let's start off by saying Indy & Bri are bestie goals for life. Those two have an irreplaceable bond that I dare anyone to try to get between.
Anyway, back to the story🤣 Seven has been searching for his fated mate for years, sensing them near yet never seeing. Then you have poor kitty fogged Indy who has been avoiding all fae for years, not knowing he can trust our beloved Ringmaster. Then, fate steps in the way and time for these two to open their eyes and see what has always been there and not at the same time. These two are so dang fun together that it was fun to see their bond mature to become what it was.
Another fantastic addition to the black cat Circus series is loved every single minute. No joking started, and I couldn't put this series down til completed. It was good and just kept you held from start to finish! This series is truly what found family is all about so happy to see these men find their mates.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly murderous meetcute
“You’re my miracle… Being part demon, I didn’t think fate would even bother giving me someone to love, let alone the other half of my soul. But now that you’re in my life, I will not let you go. I will not stop fighting for you.”
I absolutely adore this book. What an amazing conclusion to a fabulous collaboration. I cannot say it enough, the found family in this series was so beautiful, it often had me misty. Let’s face it, none of it would have been possible without The Ringmaster himself. Seven who was forsaken by his family and lives in fear that people will find out that that he is a half demon, even by his closest friends, spends his life searching for other paranormals who are alone and gives them a home, purpose and love. Are you crying yet… cause I am.
And then we have Indy, I mean Peanut, wink, wink, who was one of my favourite characters in the series. His friendship with Bri alone is goals. Regardless of what form he is in, from the beginning he took care of his "family" and let's face it, so many owe their HEA to him. Then we have Sev & Indy whose chemistry is off the charts. Indy is exactly what Sev needs to overcome his fears, even with that perfectly murderous meetcute.
The Ringmaster is low/medium heat that will make you feel all gooey inside with hearts in your eyes, whether it is focused on our MC’s or the myriad of equally spectacular side characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars All the fun of the faery fair!
Oh my! I was waiting the whole series to find out about Seven, and I was highly satisfied! Discovering Peanut's story was just as enthralling, to be fair. A spot of shibari added in? Yes, please.
I absolutely devoured this book.
I LOVE how this series feels like it's written by one author, even though each book is by a different person. The characters appear in one another's stories, and the writing voice is similar enough not to be jarring. All are fairly low angst and high steam with muchly cuteness (& gorgeousness).
I'm so ready for more. Please tell me there will be more!! There will be more, right?

4.0 out of 5 stars Seven finally catches up
Book 4 of the multi-author Black Cat Circus series sees Ringmaster Seven finally catch up with his fated mate and comes to terms with his own half-fae half-demon nature.
I've wanted to read Sev's story since I started the series and this was a great pairing: the tall purpl haired ringmaster with a fancy for nice suits and the cat he can never seem to see. Some bits seemed a little rushed, especially the spicy bits and the reunions with the brothers. But it's generally pretty good and I loved reading Seven and Peanut's story.
In this you'll find: MM near fantasy contemporary PNR; fated mates; a paranormal circus; fae; curses to overcome; a cat who's not just any cat; reunion with long lost siblings; found family; 2 excitable BFFs with slightly jealous partners; and a HEA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Times Running Out.
MM, Enemies to Lovers, Fated Mates, Paranormal, Romance. Easy to read page-turner with great characters, part of a multi author series in a shared Universe. Each book can be read as a standalone but they work really well when read as part of the series. A really enjoyable read with lots of surprises, steam, wit, humour and found family. Guaranteed HEA.
