5.0 out of 5 stars The author has created a unique world.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up this novel, but by the time I finished it, I was already recommending it to friends. It’s a wild ride! A reincarnated warrior, a tech-crazy villain, mafia conspiracies, and a bow-wielding hero—it has everything.
What made the story work for me was its emotional core. Karan isn’t just some guy with a vendetta. His trauma, his need for justice, and his growth into a leader all felt real. The Sun City backdrop gave the story a very gritty, believable feel, even as it moved into wild sci-fi territory.
The idea that his love interest turns out to be a mysterious lady archer was such a satisfying twist. I also liked how the team was built organically—Sam, Kush, Kali—all bringing their own strengths. The moral tensions within the group, especially between Karan and Kali, gave it a lot of depth.
The antagonists are terrifying but not cartoonish. Han, Lala, and finally Sibu Roy are powerful in different ways. I was especially intrigued by the Roy Corp’s experiments. They felt scarily plausible, and that made the story more intense.
It’s rare to find a book that mixes mythology, action, emotion, and futuristic tech this well. Dhawalraj has created a unique world I’d love to revisit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bold narrative and imaginative world building
As an avid reader, I found The Rising of Dhanush by Dhawalraj Parmar a captivating yet complex tale that blends mythological undertones with a gritty urban narrative. The story of Karan Keshav, a skilled archer returning to Sun City to avenge his father’s death, is filled with twists and challenges that kept me invested.
Karan’s dual life as a member of an archaeology team and a vigilante grappling with a powerful mafia network creates a compelling dichotomy. The intensity of his mission is palpable, especially as he confronts figures like the ruthless Han and the enigmatic Lala. The addition of advanced technology, such as Sibu Roy’s “Project Kavach,” adds a futuristic edge to the otherwise grounded storyline.
While the book excels in its vivid action sequences and strong character arcs, it sometimes struggles with pacing. The multiple storylines, though intriguing, occasionally felt overwhelming. However, characters like Kali and Vrisha bring refreshing perspectives and emotional depth, balancing the action with human connections.
Despite minor flaws, I appreciated the bold narrative and imaginative world-building. Parmar’s ability to craft high-stakes confrontations and heartfelt moments makes this an engaging read for those who enjoy stories of resilience, justice, and loyalty. The Rising of Dhanush is an ambitious tale that leaves you reflecting long after the final page.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!
"The Rising of Dhanush" is a captivating tale that masterfully blends ancient mythology with modern action. Karan Keshav's journey, as the reincarnation of Karna, is a thrilling ride filled with suspense, emotional depth, and high-stakes action.
With its unique blend of crime syndicates, superhuman enemies, and cutting-edge technology, this book is a must-read for fans of mythology and modern adventures. The twists are unpredictable, and the character growth is inspiring.
The author's vivid descriptions of action scenes and the protagonist's transformation into Dhanush make for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a gripping tale of mythology and modern heroism!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Epic Read Full of Power and Intrigue!
One of the things I loved most about The Rising of Dhanush is how brilliantly the women are portrayed. They’re as strong, impactful, and motivated as the men, with their own purpose and even a thirst for revenge. It’s so refreshing to see powerful, well-developed female characters in a genre often dominated by male narratives. Dhawalraj Parmar has done an amazing job of striking this balance!
The story itself is a web of conspiracies, with every character harboring their own dark intentions. It’s so unpredictable—just when you think you know where it’s going, it takes a sharp turn that keeps you hooked. The internal struggles of the characters are written so well that you feel their conflict and root for them as they make tough choices. At times, I found myself wanting to dive into the scene and fight alongside them!
Dhanush’s journey through experiments, secrets, and unimaginable enemies is nothing short of thrilling. What a ride! I’m already counting down the days for the second part!

4.0 out of 5 stars A multi-layered story with great fast writing
As a college student who loves both mythology and action-packed stories, The Rising of Dhanush was an exhilarating read. Dhawalraj Parmar reimagines Karna from the Mahabharata as Karan Keshav, a modern-day archer on a mission to seek justice. The blend of ancient mythology with contemporary challenges, like battling crime syndicates and superhuman foes, felt fresh and exciting.
Karan’s dual life as a crime-fighting vigilante and a member of an archaeology team made the story dynamic and layered. I found myself rooting for him as he unraveled secrets and faced formidable enemies, all while staying true to his heroic essence.
The action scenes were vivid and intense, and the introduction of cutting-edge technology like exoskeletons added a futuristic twist. The emotional depth in Karan’s relationships, especially with his allies and love interest, made the story even more engaging.
This book isn’t just about epic battles—it’s about resilience, loyalty, and redefining legacy. If you’re into stories that seamlessly connect mythology with modern themes, you’ll enjoy this thrilling and inspiring tale. I highly recommend it for fans of Indian epics and superhero-style adventures!
