    This book is about Walker and Birdie. Walker is a lone wolf mountain man and Birdie is a crystal loving, barefoot vegetarian. This book didn't resonate with me. Timing was off, the characters didn't really have chemistry. Plot lines and story obstacles were introduced then tossed aside without resolution. It just didn't come together for me.
