"A very satisfying love story. Makes you want to kick up your heels and dance!" --Romantchick

Parker was the gardener’s son, a hardworking teen. Strong and down-to-earth, nothing knocked him off his feet until he met Tanya, who stepped out of her rich-girl tower to tease and seduce him. Neither expected to fall so hard into a star-crossed love that ended badly.

Over a decade has passed, and Tanya, now a rising star in the world of ballroom dance, has traveled internationally, winning over audiences with her clean technique, dazzling smile and showgirl legs. But after an SOS phone call from her weird-and-wacky mom, she rushes home to their quiet coastal village—and runs smack into Parker.

Seeing each other again ignites the same fiery attraction between them. Can they rediscover the love they lost—or will secrets from the past destroy it once again?

A book that has all the proper elements that seemed formulaic, "Touch Me and Tango" actually turned out to be a refreshing romantic story that could stand on its own merit.

The story of Tanya Gentolliano, professional ballroom dance and Parker Richardson, gardener and landscaper, it is the classic rich girl falls for poor boy that happened to be part of the hired help. And as this type of stories goes, Tanya, the rich girl is a spoiled brat while Parker might be poor but he has integrity.

Tanya and Parker fell in love when they were 19 and though they had been separated for a decade, seeing each other again when Tanya had to go home to North Cove due to a family emergency, they found out that they still had feelings for each other.

But, the unresolved issues they had 10 years ago still hover over them. Add financial troubles, hidden treasures plus a current lover and an old nemesis together with family and friends make up the menagerie that Tanya and Parker has to muddle through before they could find their happily ever after.

An enjoyable read with dramatic moments that will tug at your heartstrings; this book is rated PG 13 due to one sex scene (very mild) and some violence.

Ten years earlier, selfishly involved in her dancing career, Tanya, young and starry-eyed said good-bye to her boyfriend, Parker, and her mother. Though she pays a high price once it dawns on her that she's left her heart behind. Through hard work, determination, and talent she becomes a well-known, international dancer. Then just when her life becomes really stale, she gets an SOS from her mother. "Come home - I need you." And need her, she did. With a bum leg and a house in disrepair, her mother admits to having run out of money, and that she's on the brink of losing their home. Parker, still the local gardener, still as handsome as ever, but not the easy-going fellow she'd known and could twist around her finger, is now a man to be reckoned with. He's the only one her mother trusts to help her find the treasure that their family history says is hidden on an island they own not far from where they live. Could these two overcome their personal pain and work together? I enjoyed the sparks that these two characters lit in each other and the brilliant way the author slowly lets each of them see the strength and goodness of the other. As they uncover these beguiling traits so does the reader. Add in a trail of suspense and conflicts and I must say - this is a very good book!

Tanya Gentilliano is a ballroom dance superstar.Through fierce determination and hard work, she's earned all the accolades she's received. But a frantic message from her scatter-brained mother brings her back to the small New York town she left ten years earlier. She meets up with none other than the "boy she left behind" Parker Richardson. Only now,Parker is most definitely a man -- one to be contended with. This is a delightful story. Quirky secondary characters -- gotta love her mom! A buried treasure. A mystery with lots of twists and turns. PLUS a very satisfying love story. Makes you want to kick up your heels and dance!

Tanya Gentilliano returns home to take care of her scatter-brained mother and discovers their once beautiful home and gardens are in shambles. Her mother is broke, and the only way to dig out from the pile of debt is to go dig for the buried treasure left behind by the original owner of the house, Tanya's great uncle. When her mom hires Parker Richardson to help Tanya find the treasure, Tanya and Parker are forced to face their shattered past...and the possibility of a future together.

Touch Me And Tango by Alicia and Roy Street is a delightful story filled with reunited lovers, a lost treasure, and enough twists and turns to keep this reader turning the pages. I highly recommend this book for a fun, fast-paced read!

I'm not sure why I like this book. I hated the... oh cute me, skinny me, pretty me, that was on almost every other page. I hated the on again off again love. In fact everything I hate to read in a book was in this book, yet I like this book. If you want a mindless, fun, fast, read I say give it a try. Its not going to be the best book you ever read, but it sure won't be the worst.

A wonderful second-chance-at-love romance where old lovers get back together. Tanya fled her home ten years ago after her father left with a younger woman and dealt with her pain by travelling the world dancing. She's now an international ballroom dancing star, but she still carries the emotional scars of her childhood experiences with a strict father and self absorbed mother. But she has a good heart and when she gets an SOS call from her mom she goes home to help her. Parker runs a successful gardening business, but he has a chip on his shoulder after Tanya walked out on him. He believes she thinks he isn't good enough for her. Ten years ago they were both immature and unable to see the world through the other's point of view. Older and wiser, the sparks still fly between them, but they both have more experience of life and eventually come around to understanding each other. Combine this with a hint of suspense from a villain from Parker's past, and you have a fast-paced romance. Great secondary characters and an interesting setting all help to make this an enjoyable and satisfying read. Recommended!
