    This is hands down my favorite book in the series!! Archer was cocky as heck, so determined to claim Adrianna. He never backed down even when she shot he down at every turn. However, Adrianna was just as stubborn. She wasn't going to be just another conquest of Archer's. I loved how Archer fell so in love with Adrianna. This was absolutely amazing!! I was so obsessed and engrossed into their story. 🖤🖤

    Alot of typos and i got the feeling that this book was rushed. Another error being he had her number and even sexted her, yet later on he used her phone to text himself so she had his number. They already had each other's number. The book was "ok".

    In this one, Archer was kind of a weak alpha male. Not the usual MMC for Cole. Steam was a 4. Love connection was a 3. I didn't feel as much of a magnetic pull with these characters as I usually do with this author. Still worth the read. However, starting somewhere around 70 % , the chapter and paragraphs become out of order and the characters start talking about things that happened that you hadn't read about yet. Then a couple chapters later, it happens. Seems like a few times also the author confused characters names. However, you can figure it out even with mismatched paragraphs and chapters if you work at it. It appears author was cutting and pasting the story together and pasted paragraphs in the wrong spot. Made last 35% or so of book confusing and meh.

    Adriana is one strong willed woman who needs a little live in her life. Even though this is a standalone book make sure you read Corrupt Educator to get a better idea of some of these characters as this series follows the lives of 4 woman in the last year at the Syndicate Academy. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

    Honest reviews can be really hard. I have LOVED this series from the beginning. Starting with Oak and Eva and the way the stories developed and continued and showed the relationships - not just between the girls but also between the men - was my favorite parts of the stories. I have been waiting for this book because the chemistry between Archer and Adrianna was incredible. I never know what to expect from this series so I was really looking forward to it. But after reading it, I was kind of disappointed.

    The chemistry between them is still incredible. Adrianna is probably the strongest female character and the way she went through life on her terms was excellent. She was honest and yet still supportive to her friends. I liked how the story played out and I really enjoyed the end.

    The author said at the end that she struggled with this series creatively and I think that was evident in this book. My biggest issue is Archer's cluelessness. He blackmails Adrianna to get his way and then is shocked when she doesn't respond to him the way he wants her to. I thought this guys were supposed to be smart but he showed her over years his complete lack of respect for women and then to have him be surprised that she treats him the same way is astounding to me. I would have liked an eye opening moment for him but he was very shallow to me.

    I still love the series and this book was good. It just wasn't as good as the others and that was disappointing.

    I loved the darkness in this book it was awesome, the storyline enemy to lovers, forbidden love, blackmail, how far would you go to be with the one? This story was about Archer and Adrianna, Adrianna is on her last year of The Syndicate Academy and her father has plans for her that she wants nothing to do with. Archer is a sports teacher for The Syndicate Academy as soon as he saw Adrianna he wanted her and he will make it happen. They both have secrets and it could cost them their lives and as soon as he found out her secret he hung it over her so she had to sleep with him.
