- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2013I love Ms. Palmer’s voice in this beautiful love story between Lise and Colette, an artist and her muse. Though it’s short (can be read in a couple hours) it’s captivating. The characters are well developed and the storyline is riveting (who wouldn’t want to be someone’s muse?). The prose is sensual and poetic and the setting (Paris) is so richly drawn it becomes another character in the story. I’ve read a couple other books by Ms. Palmer and enjoyed them but this is my favorite. I look forward to reading more of her work and I hope she sets more stories in Paris!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2023Alyssa Linn Palmer tells a fun short story. Fast paced, and full of chemistry. It was a quick read that I enjoyed.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2022As another reviewer mentioned, this story is "sensual, poetic and romantic." Engaging and I was unable to put it down until finished. Very heart-felt. Really enjoyed this story of Lise and Collette's love story.
