- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2024Bright, colourfully illustrated book, I was particularly impressed how pictures looked in the 'dark' like a photo negative. Mom helps her little one by showing the difference between how objects appear in the dark versus light, then proposes a game for creative fun. Overcoming fear through knowledge works, with this book highlighting how to keep calm and techniques to address challenges. Delightful! Perfect bedtime story because, well, bedtime.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2024Daughter got to the age where she started getting actively frightened by imaginary things, and this was a fun read! A little early to tell whether it totally changes her worldview toward scary things, but is a good book to occasionally read through together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep kids settled at night
A great book for helping keep children settled at night. Those who are afraid of the dark or fear monsters will benefit. I love that the story doesn't try and discourage a child's vivid imagination - it is interactive and allows them to use their imaginations in the style of a game. The illustrations are great to support this.
