Under His Care: The Manny and His Very Bad Boy Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 58 ratings

My name is Maxwell Megos and if you follow me on Insta, you probably think I have everything, but you're wrong. My mom died when I was born and my dad has never given a damn about me until my short-term social climbing stepmom came along and dug her nose way too deep in my business. Suddenly my dad is threatening to cut me off unless I shape up and fly right. No way I can do it, not without the help of my new manny, Hodges.

Yes, I'm a grown man. Yes, I've got a manny. He bathes me, dresses me, and disciplines me. Before I know it, I'm a Manny's Boy. But does Hodges really care about me or is he nothing more than a paid babysitter? Looks like I'm going to have to fire him to find out.

Under His Care features a lazy boy in need of correction, a manny who's got it all in hand, loving discipline, and a monogamous happy ending

I loved the energy between Hodges and Max. It was downright delicious! I would have loved their story be longer just to exist in their world more. They both deserved the HEA they got. Can't wait for more from this author.

T M Chris Under His Care
This is a fun book about a brat needing direction. When it appears even that gets to be too boring for Max. He lost his mom when he was young. His dad is too busy to give him more than what money can buy and he has no plans for any future. Then his step mother steps in and suddenly he is faced with dealing with a manny who shows him caring comfort and direction.
Hodges is pretty unknown. He tries to give Max someone that cares about him while teaching him direction. At every step of the rebellion Hodges puts Max back on track. I enjoyed the story. I was happy about the twist of Hodges dad but I didn’t feel I really got to know him. I was happy that Max came to realize what life should be.

This is a kinky, domestic discipline-themed novella that centers on a spoiled young man who needs some restrictions and guidance in his life. Maxwell is in his twenties, but in many ways he's never grown up. Raised in extreme wealth, his mother is deceased and his father has always been cold and remote. Maxwell's life has made him rude and wild.

When Maxwell's new stepmother hires a manny for him, Maxwell is insulted. As a grown man, he hardly requires a manny. However, when he meets Hodges, something settles him. Hodges cares for him, guides him, helps him set goals, and disciplines him when Maxwell misbehaves. Little by little, Maxwell finds that he craves the boundaries and careful attention. Can these two have a future when Maxwell is an employee of his father? This book is has a road to growth and a very satisfying HEA.

I loved Under His Care: The Manny and His Very Bad Boy by T. M. Chris. I loved Maxwell and Christian Hodges's story. I loved how Hodges handled Max's bratty attitude and what he used to fix his attention span at work. I loved how they interacted together and the twist at the end about Governor. Christian Hodges may work as a manny, but he is a Daddy through and through and Max flourishes under his care.

This was wonderful. Filled with a delicious mixture of hurt/comfort, brat with a tender heart, gentle discipline with loving care, unconditional understanding and compassion, heat and humor. Plus, the sexiest of all: competency (my catnip). There is such heartfelt caretaking in this story that it wrapped itself around my heart and kept me transfixed. I didn’t want to leave the safe and caring world the author created. Pure comfort read.

I loved how a spoiled rich boy found he needed something that he never got, care and a purpose. Turns out that when you have someone that believes in you, things that you didn't think were possible, become possible. I don't like to get into too much detail but you want to read this book!

This was a fun but pretty standard story about a rich kid who seems to be a waste of space until the right Manny comes along to give him purpose. It's a bit insta-love, and it hits all the tropes, but by the end, I was really hoping for happiness for both of them. I liked Max, and I liked that Hodges helped him find his way in life. The issues with Max's father were too deep to be dealt with in a book this long, but it was nice to see them starting to work toward a possible future relationship. A fun story that is worth a couple hours of your time.
