- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2018A different perspectivethan most VHD novels. This is written from the perspective of a young woman, with D appearing intermittently. Props to Hideyuki Kimuchi for keeping it interesting!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2017This writer has managed to write 25 different stories about a lone vampire hunter and yet he keeps it fresh and interesting. I am already looking forward to the next volume.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2019Another great book from the long running Vampire Hunter D series
- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017Received it well, but I still need to read. A great novel for my Vampire Hunter D collection.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2017Lazy writing. D wasn't even the main character. Horribly translated. There simply was no reasons for these 2 women to love D. Glad it was so short. Best thing about this volume is never revealed because the author is scared to convey any deeper underlining truths by D muffling his left hand when it brings up love or the Sacred Ancestor.. Lifeless mehhhhh. But thing about this volume is the cover
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2017I've read every book up into now. I have an eye injury that prevents me from being able to read normal books, but if I put them on a kindle and jack up the font size, I can read them. He never did it before, but some reason the author has tripled the price for digital over printed. Very, very uncool to do to the disabled.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2019It's done in the style of all the books of this series. Formulaic, perhaps, but the formula works for me, especially in such a unique setting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cambio di prospettiva

1.0 out of 5 stars another deception
This series is really dying. This book is more of the same in a boring and repetitive way, with a weird narrative and little coherence, very boring too and kind of silly.
