Molly had a pretty good idea what she was getting into when she accepted a new life of New Vaxx, and it had a lot of things going for it, but not being able to go anywhere alone, always having to have her guardian, an alien warrior, with her to make sure the single men respected her right as an unmated woman to choose her match was… tiresome. Gavvin wasn’t the most respected warrior in town, but when he found Molly taking a midnight stroll, alone in the forest, and about to be hurt, every part of him wanted to protect her, and care for her… even if he didn’t feel good enough. This done in one, stand alone story, connects to others in the Universe, but stands solidly on its own, as it explores the lives of two people who have spent years feeling judged by anonymous others. People who are just starting to learn how to judge their own worth, and act accordingly. I was gifted with a copy of this book, and chose to share a review.
