I really liked this book. Most books I read start off a bit slow. But LA Dreams does an excellent job at pacing the story. I don’t want to spoil the story, but I am eager to see what comes of all her work towards leaving her small hometown.

I liked this story a lot! It's short but has great storytelling, and clean writing. It's full of character. Summer is a small-town girl with big dreams yet a naive mindset that has to grow if she is going to survive in L.A. I can't wait to find out what happens next in this novella series. By the way, I received a free copy of this book as an ARC (Advanced Copy) reader.

The Farm Girl in the Big City theme is done with some style, a bit of wit and a healthy respect for the reader's intelligence. If you lived on a farm and completed all your chores well before sunrise for over 20 years, then you know that you would probably be seriously considering hopping a ride with Summer to LA. too.

I like this new approach to writing romance novels. It feels different, it feels fresh, it feels like it was written by an author who loves romances and wants to gift the reader with something special. The characters appear to be crafted with care. They are then presented in a manner that moves the story forward without the need for excessive narration.

After one reading session, Summer already feels like a good friend of mine. She is living a fun, fast-paced life in LA that can become a little tense at times, but that's LA, isn't it? I recommend this book. I think you will like it.

It was a little slow at first. Now I want to know what kind of mess Summer is going to get into. I hope she doesn't get used or hurt. I would kind of leary of Adrienne.
