This book has vintage recipes from the 1990s. It’s hard to think of something from 1990s being vintage, but it has been a while. There are 12 Breakfast recipes, 22 Main Dish recipes, 10 recipes in the Desserts section, and 14 Drinks. There are many dishes and drinks from my childhood that I had forgotten about and I can add those into my meal rotation.

Fun to see some of the recipes that I learned to cook when I was newly married. Some I disnt realize were feom the 90s lol thought they were older.

This “Vintage Recipes Of The 1990’s”, by Kevin Palmer McDermott, is a collection of recipes your mostly familiar with in some way. Having cooked them or even better had it fix for you😁!
It is during the nineties that I remember the “Breakfast Burrito” that’s included in this collection. Not sure but I’m thinking the “Mushroom Cheese Omelet ” also. Of course a few more things like onion was added to my taste😁.
The one recipe I was surprised at was “Bagel with cream cheese and Lox”..? Lax is Salmon. Oh and “Scrambled Eggs With Smoked Salmon”. Not sure I’d like those two. Oh and “The Breakfast Quesadilla”, yummy!
This includes something for all the meals and deserts too. My favorite is “Coffee Icecream”😛! Oh, and “The Icecream Sandwich”too😁!
One I’ve always wanted to try and never have..”Spinach And Feta Stuffed Chicken Breast”. Just sounds good to me. Remember “Hawaiian Pizza”? That is a 90’s for sure.
These recipes give’s a variety of different meats in the recipe too. If you’re looking for a recipe to use a specific meat in.
And drinks, oh my! The “Coffee Martini” will definitely give you a party lift! The “Blueberry Lemonade” sounds so refreshing.
Sooo..to sum it up, this is a fun, delicious and delightful recipe book that we all can enjoy and use. 🥰👍🏻.

This is a collection of 1990's popular recipes. It is a good representation of some of the more memorable recipes
introduced during that decade. The layout of ingredients, and numbered instructions are very helpful, especially for
beginning cooks. The photos of the finished dishes were poor quality.

These have some easy recipes for you to make I like that it gives you the nutrition value. It does not say if the calories are per serving or for the whole recipe. That would be nice to know.

This cookbook takes me back to when I was a kid. There are so many classic recipes I grew up with included in this book. I like that there is a mix of breakfast, main dishes, desserts and drinks included. And I love that each recipe features a photo of that item. I think some of the foods probably don't need a recipe included (Granola and yogurt parfait, ice cream sandwich, etc) but it does serve as a reminder that those were classic recipes of the 90s. But otherwise there is a good mix of fun, tasty, classic recipes from that era.

Vintage Recipes of the 1990’s focuses on the change in the dietary preferences which began with the emphasis on healthier foods and the addition of cultural foods around the globe. Examples of menus associated with this decade includes granola and yogurt parfait, breakfast burrito, spinach and feta stuffed chicken, pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes, frozen yogurt, and a fruit tart. Many menu items included the use of honey, fresh herbs, vegetables, and/or fruits.
