- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2024Really appreciated the insights and honesty given in this book. Short, topical, and relevant. Hard to beat that combination. Brandon Oliger was super honest and not the hero of his story, adding necessary humor. Refreshing for an author today!
Great gift idea for any new teacher specifically, and for any teacher in general! Highly recommend...
- Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2024I could have definitely benefitted from this book my first few years of teaching! Even after having 12 years of teaching 3rd grade under my belt, I had something to learn and hope to put into practice in my own teaching.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2024Brandon's approach to education is full of grace and humility—like considering himself "painfully average"—and his passion for his students is always on display. His guide would be an insightful mentor for any young teacher or someone interested in getting started in teaching.
